Liked: Fantastic place. Extremely helpful staff - were told all about things we could do around the island as soon as we arrived, therefore maximising our time there. Great facilities and value for money. Would definitely go again.

Liked: i liked staying here because the rooms were affordable and basically just what i needed.a bed to sleep a shower to wash and within walking distance of beach and restaurants. not to menion money exchange and bike hire. perfect. i will go back again. actually i did go back again a few weeks later!

Liked: Very clean and great lounge area and great dvd collection. rooms were made up every day and towels and sheets changed every 2nd day very unexpected and very pleasant.

Liked: The wooden bungalow we booked is unexpectedly fantastic, consided the low fees. The room is clean, toilet full of natural lights with some green plant, the window is equipped with window screen to prevent mosquitoes. The water sold in the guest house is with the same price of those sold in supermarkets nearby, not expensive at all. Zackry is a very nice man with very few words. One day my friend was bitten by a jelly fish in the sea, with her arm swollen and painful. Zackry drove us all the way to the hospital in Kuah town immediately. He did not speak a lot but we can both feel he was very warm hearted and helpful. Zackry\s guest house located about 100 meters away from another expensive hotel HolidayVilla. If you live here in Zackry, you can just take a short walk and use all facilities of HolidayVilla ( a big swimming pool with jacuzzi, clean & quiet beach-- sharp contrast to the noisy Cenang beach). There is a fancy breakfast bar just opposite to Holiday villa called Cactus.

Liked: Amazing place, feels like a home from home. Very easy to meet people and I think I'll be walking horizontally now for a few weeks as I'm so chilled out. Anywhere I go now will take a lot to live up to this place, won't find better on the island and amazing value for money. Thanks Zack, I'll be back......Lynell.

Liked: We (a middle aged,but very experienced hostelling) couple were only able to stay for 2 nights as the hostel was fully booked over New Year but had a large, pleasant fan room - others were very much smaller. Good security with a lockable cupboard within the room and kitchen facilities, open air dvd/tv lounging area enhanced the laidback atmosphere. Must like dogs!

Liked: Great location and very relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly hosts, nice to spend time with and extremely helpful with transport arrangements and information about Langkawi, Malaysia and Thailand. We stayed for an extra 4 days. Highly recommended.
