Eagle Bay Hotel is a 3-star hotel with the best panoramic view of the sea, islets, parks, island's highest mountain, evening sunset and longest beach in Langkawi town.
Its name derived from 'Lang' which means Eagle and the location of the Hotel is facing a bay.
Age old timber, natural stone slabs, pebble wash and plants from native jungle have given this hotel the unique look and ambience.
Its 128 Deluxe and Suites are tastefully furnished with air condition, television, fridge, telephone, ensuite bathroom with shower & long bath. Kettle with coffee & tea facilities is provided in all the suites. Other amenities available on request are hairdryer, iron, prayer mat, and baby cot and laundry service.
Hotel facilities are outdoor spa swimming pool, children’s playground & jogging track (in front of the hotel), souvenir corner, conference and meeting rooms for 300 pox, free car park, travel information, internet connection, luggage storage, safe deposit boxes and travel desk.
Meranti Restaurant serves sumptuous Malay, Oriental and Western cuisine from 7am-11pm. The restaurant also caters for in-house conference and banquet as well as catering for out-of-hotel functions, such as Teppanyaki Steamboat, Sunset Seafood Beach BBQ in the park, birthday bash, serving buffet lunches, dinners, tea breaks as well as cocktails. Opens daily from 7.00am till 11.00pm
The more active can take advantage of the many recreational activities which include round island tours, snorkeling & diving, island hopping, golf, fishing, bats cave exploring, kayaking, flying fox, abseiling, sailing, waterfall visits, Fish Farm Visits & Eagle Feeding in Mangrove Forest.
Other arrangements are hotel transfer, car rental, bicycle hire, limousine service, gym, tennis, badminton courts and jogging track just opposite the hotel in Legend Park. Official check-in time is 3:00 pm and check-out time is 12:00 noon. New day begins at 5:00am. Special rates are available for holidays and meeting packages as well as for long staying guests.
