Liked: Not my cup of tea...Upon arrival the guy behind the counter did not know hopw to check in people, so we had to wait more than 45 minutes for the next shift to get in so we could get our room... ;o(

Liked: the location is nice because it is within chinatown and we can just buy things that we needed and walking distance to the night market. the staff is very nice and helpful especially about transportation. the place is okay. great value for ur money.

Liked: This is definitely a backpacker hostel. It was very VERY cheap - but as you always get what you pay for it is of course very basic! For one night it was okay, for more nights I would choose another, more expensive, hostel.

Liked: The hostel is in an excellent location - right in the middle of china town. The tours that they operate are great, especially the "chilling waterfall" and the "elephant and deer sanctuary". However, the rooms are extremely basic and do not even supply duvets for the beds. The dorms are pretty grim as well. I only had one warm shower, all the rest were cold. The roof top bar isn't exactly party central either, despite what you might read. Not sure I would recommend this hostel to friends.

Liked: Great location in Chinatown, only a couple of blocks from the bus station. Don't expect much help from the staff though. They seemed to have misplaced their book exchange cabinet key for the entire 3 days I was there and I had to extend my stay by booking another night via the internet as various staff members could not make the booking and told me to come back later for a full 36 hours. Great value for the money though!

Liked: Place was nothing special but it suits everything you need for a short stay. Beware if you get a room on the first floor it is very noisy in the morning. Right near Little China which was fantastic.

Liked: It's in the heart of China town. Centrally located in the city from shopping centres and the sight seeing places. The street is active in all hours.Recommend this place to all.The only people who may NOT want to be here are vegetarians or people who have an issue with the smell of meat as China town has at all times, these fun stalls lying open, making all kinds of yummy meat all over and smell comes. Also people looking for a QUIET holiday may prefer something else.I love it.

Liked: this was a decent place if excuse the rat that jumped out of the bin in the bathroom1 slap bang in the middle of china town the rooftop bar is a disapointment as they dont really do anything to it other than put on th etv and serve u a drink if you want one. no atmosphere at all really. the woman at the desk was nice but the internet is from the stoneage and really slow. the dvd rest area is a bunch of plastic chairs in front of an old boxset that only plays dvds which isnt too bad i suppose.i wouldnt go back but its not the worst place we've been.

Liked: The location is good, just 2-minute walk from China town and 5-minute walk to Puduraya. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Even after we checked out they told us we could take shower before we left for night bus. Bathroom not very well maintained; Female dorm is inside mixed dorm; big chance to have snoring roomrate... Could only be recommended to those who want to save money and who are not fastidious.
