Liked: it was cheap, good location, good breakfast but not free

Disliked: its cheap so its very basic you really dont get anything. There are no towels, no toilet paper, and no sheets to cover with unless you ask. Internet you have to pay for as well. The dorms have an ac on during the night and it was freezing. Pretty much you just get the sponge/mattress and everything else you have to pay for or bring yourself

Liked: For the equivalent of 2 pounds per night, with a great location in KL Chinatown, you can't really grumble. Breakfast, travel services and internet facilities too.

Disliked: Having said that, some of the staff were stand-off-ish and nitpicky about which rules they enforced and when (cleaning staff open the door to the balcony, yet people aren't allowed to stand on the balcony? Apparently no alcohol consumption is allowed in the dorms, yet staff turned a blind eye to bottles of gin all over the floor on one evening? No smoking sticker on a door, yet the staff member's reaction to a guest smoking in her room was 'we don't care'? Rather large logic gaps if you ask me!) The bathrooms were infested with fleas and the toilet flush rarely worked. The cleaning staff were friendly and hard working, but the place in general needs refurbishing. The capper was receiving useless, random keys upon check-in that seemingly served no purpose other than to remind you which bed was yours after you'd had too much gin! There are better hostels to stay in in KL, but this is probably the best choice if you just need a bed and a roof over your head - or just want a few 'Fawlty Towers'-esque travel experiences ;)

Liked: It was great value for money and the rooftop bar is a good place to meet other people.People might be a little surprised if they're coming from a more developed country but there was really litte wrong with the place.

Disliked: Security was my only concern, I was able to walk from the street to my dorm without having to use my key once and I doubt that the guy on reception knows everybody by sight. Get a locker if you're staying here.

Liked: great location, good place to meet people at the rooftop bar. Helpful staff and lots of info and tours available too.

Disliked: rooms a bit dingy and cell like, but just a place to sleep so doesn't matter really! also you have to pay for any extras, internet, breakfast and even toilet roll, but good value anyway.

Liked: When I was there, I was unwell with a stomach bug and Stevie, the manager could not have done more to look after me. It was also a great hostel to meet others- very sociable indeed. (But not noisy after lights out, dont worry!)

Disliked: Nothing, it was bargainous!

Liked: It is wonderfull to meet peopleee!! , it is cheap!!, The bar and the barman are reaaaaaally cooll!!! . wonderful location also...

Disliked: Nothing! You have beds and a veery cool bar, if you think its enough, go there!!!! If not, no!!

Liked: Because the location is in the centre of Chinatown. Very near from Petaling Street and LRT Station. The room rate also very cheap.

Disliked: There's no free wifi access. We must pay MYR 5/day to access it.

Liked: Genious location! On the metro line and close to everywhere in the centre.

Disliked: There was a window from our room which leads into the corridor. So, you hear all noise from common areas and I didn´t feel safe to leave some valuable things in the room.

Liked: Great location, Chinatown is nice, and very close is MRT station, great people there, also backpackers :) Stuff very helpful :) Very cheap :)

Disliked: The floor is like from garage, but for this price I don't expect anything more :)

Liked: possibility of bus booking, internet for reasonable money, communicative staff ...

Disliked: we have not experienced hot water for 3 days of our stay, although there was information that there is hot water for 24 hours a day
