Liked: Central location, access to everywhere, nice rooftop bar with view to whole China town!

Disliked: Maybe the color of the walls, looks bit like in the prison.. Would recommended some nice wall decoration.

Liked: Friendly, helpful staff, convenient to LRT, great value for money. What more can I say? Oh, and they are strong believers in recycling -- a big plus for me!

Liked: Good location, attached travel office was very good and we got some good discounts there.

Disliked: Not all bathrooms had hotwater. Some staff unhelpful.

Liked: It was in a central location where all the other hostels were. A good place to start exploring the city

Disliked: It was very dirty and extremely basic. The mattresses were very uncomfortable and the rooms smelt funny. The toilets were dirty as well. The linen you were given was very old. Only stayed one night and am glad that I didnt stay any longer

Liked: It was easy to meet people and the staff were very friendly

Disliked: At night the air conditioning came on between the hours of 9pm - 9am. The temperature was put on far too low so you were freezing in the night. I also got biten by bed bugs all over my back and shoulders and face.

Liked: Helpful staff, except the night guy. cheap place to stay, nice room, we had a 3 pers bedroom with fan. Good location, nice breakfast

Disliked: Alot of bedbugs in one bed, but they sprayed it when we complained. Beside that it was an exellent place to stay if you have a tight budget.

Liked: It's affordable and very near china town so you'll see lots of bargains and people of all races.

Disliked: Limited Comfort Rooms available so you really have to Que in line.

Liked: Great location, easy to get to with directions provided! Staff so friendly, from check in desk to bar staff!

Disliked: beds in the dorm were pretty shoddy, felt like I was going to fall off the top of mine! And dorms quite small, may be better to upgrade to private room, but perfect for couple of nights!

Liked: International electrical outlets and wireless internet. Location- IF you want to spend time in chinatown. Clean enough. On site laundry service,

Disliked: Very unorganised staff, they overbooked me and put me in someone's private room, on a terribly uncomfortable fold away. then later that night the receptionist told me there was another over booking and that he was going to put the girl in our room - because the other person had a double bed, he said they could share. I told him he cannot just expect someone to share their bed with a stranger. The staff were unfriendly, rude, especially when asking for information. I asked him to book me the bus to penang and he got mad when i asked who the company was (so i could find the bus) because he thought i was comparing prices. No lock on the door, or lockers SHOWERS were terrible, cold, and pretty much just a tap on the wall inside the toilet. No toilet paper Overall this is not a nice place, but VERY cheap, so if you know how to rough it- it is good value for money.

Disliked: the working staff abit noisy in the mid mornings in the dorms

Liked: It was cheap.

Disliked: Funny smell in the dorm all the time, like sour tofu or something, stained mattresses and pillows (but clean sheets provided). Bins in the hallways which probably creates the smell, just generally a bit grubby.
