Liked: When visiting KL it is close to train and bus lines and walking distance to most major attractions. The staff were very approachable and helpful in assisting us to find our way round. It is also close to restaurants and bars.. Good value for money.

Disliked: Greg left no negative feedback.

Liked: The breakfast was fine, the location in the centre of KL

Disliked: The rooms have NO windows its like living in a cage, it is very loud all day and also in the nights, you also can hear your the guest of other rooms if the talk silent It rained into the room, there was 1 cm of water in the room all luggage was wet, we had luck that our laptop etc. layed on the bed. Then we moved into another room and there was the next day no water for over 24 hours, how long we dont now because we moved out! We didnt get a refund for wet clothers and no water.... Never again!!!!!

Liked: The hotel is really nice, only five minutes walk from the monorail station. Room was really clean and spacious. Good breakfast. Only 15 minutes walk to KLCC and Chinese Market. I would definitely go back. Good value for money.

Liked: The rooms were very clean and the location is great right in the heart of Bukit Bingtang near the local night markets and the strip of expensive tourist bars if thats what you're after. Also walking distance to monorail and can easily walk to Petronas Towers etc..

Disliked: The rooms on the 1st floor are very dark without windows and poor lighting - making it difficult to adjust your jetlag or sleeping pattern. I asked to be moved to the 2nd level but was told all the rooms were the same. Perhaps better lighting can be installed in the rooms, there isn't much atmosphere if you're traveling alone few people use the common room.

Liked: location, close to Bukit Bingtan

Disliked: Very noise in the evening, this hostel just located among a group of bar. You will hear the noise till 2:30am in the morning!!!

Liked: I love their classic Chinese building and their wooden floor. The location is another advantage. You only have to walk about 10 minutes to Bukit Bintang.

Disliked: There is no elevator in this hostel.

Liked: Very clean and relaxing room. Lovely, super helpful staff. Great price for what you get.

Disliked: My room had no windows and was, paradoxically, quite loud (due to a nightclub next door). I'm a heavy sleeper so it didn't bother me too much, but I can see it driving someone else crazy. Maybe ask for room away from the road?

Liked: Clean friendly good value b&b in a great location, minutes walk to monorail, LRT, food, drink and shops. Wifi accessible on ground & 1st floors but no reach to higher floors. Travelling solo, there is a lounge & balcony but I didn't find these to be the place to meet other travelers. Overall highly recommended though, I'd stay here again.

Liked: Lovely clean property with very helpful staff. As i was on the 3rd floor my bag was taken up straight away. Great communal areas with 2 TV rooms and an outdoor terrace.

Disliked: The 3 bed dorm was very small with little room for bags. I got very little sleep one night due to the heat and the other person in the dorm not wanting any airconditioning on (not the hotels fault obviously) but it did draw my attention to the noise from the nightclubs and bars outside. But on the positive you dont have to go far for a drink.

Liked: Friendly staff, good location, fairly clean.

Disliked: Our room was on the top floor and the stair case is very tight and tiny. I imagine someone who is bigger will have trouble getting up with luggages.

Liked: A great centrally based B&B with great character. Affordable, quiet & well placed in the centre of KL. Plants adorn the exterior of the building giving the rainforest it's theme. A very stylish breakfast room also adds to the laid back image/style. Comfortable modest rooms with tv and safety deposit box for valuables. Separate night entrance door with Electronic key card access adds to the good security. An excellent place to stay & far more pleasant than the usual humdrum hotel/guest house. I have stayed several times & would stay again.

Disliked: The staircase to the room levels is a bind but unavoidable & worth the effort. The staff can move luggage to & from the staircase which is a great help & essential to most guests. The breakfast available was very basic but adequate & disappointingly no fruit juice unlike on previous visits. The staff were generally okay but different & not as good to those on my previous stays.

Liked: Close to monorail (Raju Chulan station), 10 min walk to Bukit Bintang station so you don't even have to take the monorail, friendly staff and security guard at night. Area is safe. Beds were clean and towel was provided. Free wifi and also lounge areas throughout the building (lobby, 2nd floor balcony, 3rd floor area). I was on the 3rd floor so I got a window.

Disliked: No elevators and stairs do not have rails, so it doesn't feel safe and difficult to carry your luggage up three flights of stairs. Only one washroom per floor and needs a bigger surface to hold some toiletries. REALLY thin walls! I couple of people came back drunk late at night and I could hear what they were talking and they made such a big THUD noise that the walls and floor shook! Rooms for 3 beds were a bit small and didn't really have a place to put your luggage.

Liked: I like the atmosphere of the building and room. Staffs are helpful and kind. The best thing I liked is very close to the nightlife. So walk back to the room safely.

Disliked: There is no windows. and a bit noisy when next room use the toilet and shower.

Disliked: they only had one bathroom each floor, and after the long day exploring the town goin up to our own room on the 3rd floor is tiring. i would advice they put some rail on their stairs

Liked: A well located, clean and trendy spot. Nice bright colors and use of natural timer. The staff were friendly though not effusive. My bedroom was clean and basic, bed was comfortable and the price was reasonable though not spectacular, if your traveling as a single person and want your own room. Overall it's well placed aiming at the flashpacker market. Closed to bars and cafe's. Perfect spot for a mid life crisis, or a 30something budget transit through KL for a few days or for stair loving low budget grey dollar set

Disliked: Overall, I would say the hotel has undercut itself a tad too far. I stayed two nights on the upper floor, which had the benefit of windows to let In a modicum of natural light, which the lower ground rooms don't have, but this was counteracted by the thumping noise from neighboring nightclubs! The upper room had no water pressure so there was no hot water, which was annoying as was the climb up 8 flights of narrow stairs. The stairs left me particularly annoyed on my second day when my electronic room key locked me out, as I had arrived late and not completed check in, so I climbed to the top, them back down top sort out the key then back up again to grab the item I had come back for in the first place, then back down again.... This left me annoyed that the staff had not thought to mention the problem as I walked by! Finally I'd have to say the breakfast was just a tad too miserly to even bother with, Paper + Toast, across the road and round the corner became my breakfast hang out. Overall, would I stay there again or recommend It to a friend... Mmm.. If on a budget, and middle of the week, sure, but I'd still ask for a lower floor and be annoyed art the darkness. Much better value for couples
