Liked: The decor: very French colonial. Odd perhaps for a former British colony but it really works. The wash facilities are very clean and it's great having private facilities.It's round the corner from the Menara Tower (which should be visited) and on the same road as the Hotel Istana: handy as buses from KL Int Airport will travel to selewct hotels including the Istana. Othersise, the monorail at Jalan Raja Chulan is extremely handya nd opposite the Istana Hotel.You have quite a variety of eating establishments along Jalan Nagasari (the road that the hotel's on so no need to worry about where to eat: Chinese, Indian, Arabic. At the shopping mall around the corner are further choices including the ubiquitous McD's and Domino Pizza.The jewel in the crown is the spacious family room which is very spacious and looks lovely (see the photo on their website). Breakfast is really good: fruit and toast with lovely local jam. Also tea or coffee. No juices but these can be obtained cheaply over the road.Lovely reading room on the first floor and a further meeting room/kitchen area (I kid you not) on the next floor up.There are 2 reliable PCs for that free internet access.This is a "Must Stay" hotel.

Disliked: Nothing: really brilliant and the type of hotel I prefer.

Liked: I like the atmosphere, decoration, facilities and staff. The bed is so comfortable that I don't wanna get up in the morning. There are safe box and mirror in the room, really considerate.

Disliked: I lived in the dorm room, and it's really very small for 3 people, barely have places for luggage. The others are just great.

Liked: The property was inviting, and the full-wall mirror on the bedroom won lots of points with my boyfriend! Shower was good, and the location was excellent near plenty of bars, hawker stands and shopping centres.

Disliked: The toilet was not flushing very well at all, and we had difficulty communicating with the staff. If they were not fully booked we would have changed our room. Also there's a lovely balcony that is used mostly by smokers and people were up late drinking out there. The walls are pretty thin so we could hear every word they were saying! Had to get up and ask nicely twice for other guests out there to keep it down. Because of this we probably wouldn't stay there again, but we would definitely try out other guesthouses/hotels in the area because of the location.

Liked: Superbly located and very clean attractive property, friendly helpful staff and great price for a/c en-suite rooms. Easy to find using public transport - we used the high speed rail service from KLIA and the monorail to get there - and within walking distance of most of the major city sights and venues.

Liked: the location is quite good. it's quite close to the Bukit Bingdang night market. it's quite a lot of fun there. Rainforest is also a special place for the modern KL. the facilities there r good as well.

Disliked: the room is a little bit 2 small. and there is no windows in the room, so the natural ventilation is not good.

Liked: Nice atmosphere, very nice communal areas, great location, main attractions and approx 20 shopping malls are within walking distance.. great for people who dont want to use much public transport and who like walking a bit. Staff is very helpful and very patient with every our question. Secure locked room was provided after we checked out. Nice breakfast, enough food for all the guests, however everyday the same: toasts, couple of jams, butter, cornflakes and musli, cookies, seasonal fruit (this time bannanas and watermelon), coffee and tea.. filtered water is also provided to fill in our bottles for our day trips. Room was very small, no window (but this was the cheapest room), shared bathroom.. bathroom was cleaned every day and rooms every 3 days, towels are also provided and cleaned after request. Wifi and 2 PC in the lobby are free of charge. I would recommend this property and i would stay there again. We had a pleasant stay.

Liked: Was there for a day only. Enjoyed a good night's sleep because the bed was really comfortable and clean. Free wi-fi and personal safe available in room. Location very convenient, especially for food, even late into the night.

Disliked: Stairways got no railings. Bitten by mosquitoes.

Liked: Helpful and kind staff. Friendly,clean, warm environment. Very homely with lots of lovely things on display and excellent the way you can make your own cup of tea or coffee etc.

Disliked: Having to climb the narrow stairs to the top was awkward for us otherwise everything was great.

Liked: Great place to stay, just a few minutes to foodcourts, shopping area, near to monorail, walking distance to KL Menara, Petronas towers,.. We mostly took the monorail or LRT because of the traffic on the streets. The hostel is very very clean, the service with free internet great, only the laundry was not very good, the clothes stayed dirty. Everything else is great. It´s nice to have a breakfast, rooms to meet people, very friendly staff, nothing bad to mention. I would stay there again, even for a longer time!!!!

Liked: though its a hostel... but the room is actually comparable to a hotel. though the reception is closed at 12mn.. thus i have to stay in another hostel.. but overall the palce is really worth staying...
