Liked: it was a great place to stay, location was excellent. A good place to meet other travelers. Excellent showers, nice and hot. A good Place to relax after a full day of sightseeing.

Disliked: The beds were very uncomfortable with springs digging into your back! The wifi wasn't working at all during our stay, but they do provide free computers so that wasn't a big issue. The man who checked us in when we arrived was not very friendly and rushed through all the information and didn't provide any maps/tours information.

Liked: Clean, helpful staff, nice kitchen with free breakfast, nice atmosphere. Nothing to complain about.

Disliked: Nothing. It is a little odd that the dorm has no windows, this means its dark, and therefore great for sleeping.

Liked: The staff here really made it... From when I arrived late at night and met Jessie... (she even woke me up at 3.30 am on my last night so I could catch an early flight)... Just so sweet and warm. Kumar is working during the day and helps with all your sight seeing plans and will draw on maps all the sights and gives walking directions. I couldn't have seen so much without his help. I only met Logen at the end and he was helpful booking me a taxi. Buy your tickets for the menara KL and the bird park from here, it's a lot cheaper!

Liked: Really cosy and friendly, and central to many tourist attractions in KL. Comfortable for young and old, I have been on exchange in KL for Uni and this was a perfect place for my parents to come and stay. They really enjoyed themselves.

Disliked: Nothing. It was great!

Liked: It's cheap. Staff are nice, helpfull with what to see. You need to understand KL is a smelly horrible city, with not a particularly nice people, so this is hostel is fine, would I stay for more than 2 nights max to see the sights?? No way!! Fly in get sick, smell the sewage everywhere, leave KL! The bar under this hostel is questionable to say the least! We went mid week on way to Bali and it was ok, on our return we went on a fri night and it was all guys, all local, all fighting and being twats, were 2 fair size guys and I felt really uncomfortable in there. But the guy I was travelling with was to lazy to go anywhere else. Cleanliness in the bar is non exsistant, drink from a bottle!!

Disliked: The atmosphere of the bar and surrounding areas not nice. In hostel was fine, dirty sheets, awful showers and toilets.

Liked: Its location in the China Town

Disliked: Bad air circulation. Can smell the smoke from Reggae pub down stair almost all of the time.

Liked: I liked the common area. The staff were really helpful and there was lots of information about the city. The location is great, right next to china town and the train station is only one stop from KL central.

Disliked: Breakfast was simple - just white toast and jam.

Liked: Its close to a Trainstation. Hot Shower!

Disliked: Just 4 public bathrooms... this is not enough! Absolutely Basic Hostel. Slept in cheaper and much better Hostels in other towns. Breakfast was just a toast with butter to make on your own, but allways finish. Compared to the KL ibis-Hotel it is the same price and ibis is probably nicer.

Liked: Perfect location for sightseeing in kl , nice staff.

Disliked: No shoes allowed inside. I dont like walking around barefoot in shower or toilet.

Liked: Staff was friendly. Place was somewhat clean... Internet worked, until it crashed.

Disliked: Staff were at times absent from front desk, so you had to hunt them down if you had questions. There's a HUGE loud dirty, dirty, dirty bar under this Hostel with music playing LOUD until early morning hours. Earplugs will not help, as you'll hear the bass - sounds like there's a war going on when you're trying to sleep. I'd say if you're looking for a place to sleep, don't look here. If you're looking to party till early hours every night, by all means, book here. Breakfast was just toast - meh. Rooms small and no windows.

Disliked: at 6 foot, the bed was a touch small for me to stretch out completely.
