Liked: we really enjoyed our stay here!! our room was lovely and very clean! staff were very welcoming and helpful, they even went out to flag us down a taxi at 4 in the morning! would highly recommend!!

Liked: A basic, clean room in a good location for easy access to the LRT train service. We are a young mid 50's couple who usually stay in in either 3/4/5 star hotels and were really surpised on how much we enjoyed our short stay.

Liked: nice location, walking distance to Pasar Seni MRT, Sri Mahamariamman Temple, Central Market, and Petaling Street.

Disliked: anybody can open occupied bathroom/toilet, broken lock! if it's under repair, at least put some sign to knock before open the door. my friend (who stay with me in the same room) swore never to stay in this hostel again because somebody open his door while he took a shower.

Liked: Clean and tidy private twin room with air con (which i wouldn't have survived without) and comfortable beds.

Liked: I liked the location and the cleanliness

Disliked: I did not like that the blanked did not seem to be washed between guests so I did not use it. The internet was VERY slow

Liked: Nice hot showers, rooms were clean.

Disliked: The reggae bar below turns into a club in the evening which goes on to way past 3am and you can feel the bass in your room! I also had a nice pair of sandels stolen and when i requested staff check the cctv they looked mistified!

Liked: very clean, mainly cool/ air con place.right on top of china town market

Disliked: daily had problems with the air con in my private room, they were always fixed eventually, but this was annoying to wait and be hot!! no discount given. noisy due to bar downstairs - stay elsewhere if you want quiet directions are wrong on website. its right at the 7-11!!

Liked: The staff are really nice and helpful and the place is kept very clean! We extended our stay as it is really comfortable and great value in the heart of Chinatown. I wouldn't bother too much with the reggae bar food though...

Disliked: The music from downstairs can be loud... May be a problem if you are a light sleeper, earplugs block it out though!

Liked: It's a small place and it's very clean thanks to the full-time cleaning lady. The breakfast (coffee or tea and toasts with strawberry jam) is free. Despite its enthusiastic and nationwide marketing efforts, it's a really quiet place. Definitely not a party hostel.

Disliked: The rooms have no windows.

Liked: very clean hostel, good atmosphere, friendly and helpfull staff, bar right below the hostel, good location, cool people :-)

Liked: carpeted rooms and hallways...true reggae ambiance...really clean place.

Disliked: location. was a bit hard to locate. a detailed map/direction will really help guests find their way to the property.
