Customer reviewAlthough the accomodation itself is well kept and the guy that runs it is very friendly this doesn't make up for the location that is nearly impossible to find since it's on the 18th floor of a tower block with no signs or proper information directing you to the hostel. Even the guards on the entrance to the tower complex aren't aware of its existance. It is also quite a while away from the centre of Kuala Lumpur with nothing to do in the surrounding area. I would also note that it is considerably over priced in comparison to other hostels in the city for what you get. One real benefit however is that it does have windows! |

Customer reviewOur room was slightly pricey, but had a really nice view of the Kuala Lumpur skyline and the Petronas Towers. It was also fairly spacious with a nice big bathroom. The lounge area was really nice and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff, too. It's a bit far out from the center of town, but not hard to get to from the subway, once you get oriented. |

Customer reviewA really nice place to stay, quiet and clean. The girls were really nice and answered all my questions along with providing maps of the city and train line. I would definitely stay there again. The only thing I could fault it on is that its a little far out of the city. Its about a ten minute walk to the nearest train and I wouldn't want to do that myself after dark. Lovely views of the city though! All in all a very nice place to stay. |

Customer reviewWe found KL retreat a friendly, clean and comfortable place to stay. KL retreat is 10 mins out of the centre of town but it is an easy trip on the train. The hostel is set on the 19th floor of a large residential condominium. Don't be decieved when you arrive, if you think you are in the wrong place you are actuallly spot on. There only four rooms in this small hostel which makes it very peaceful and being on the 19th floor provides you with a stunning view over the city, looking especially brilliant at night with the petronis towers lit up. Good aircon and free internet are a plus and I have never stayed at a cleaner hostel. I would definately recommend this hostel and suggest that it is worth the short trip out of town. |

Todd NormanRoom was nice especially for the price, ability to cook and do laundry myself, swimming pool, privacy (you get your own room unlike some dorm-style places) |
