Liked: The staff were excellent and could not do enough for you. Definitely the best repore with any staff I have had in any place I have stayed

Disliked: Could have had a better fan in the cheaper rooms. Otherwise very good value for money.

Liked: Great to have individual rooms, and a good price. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Rooms don't have windows, though this is quite common and I think the price reflects this.

Liked: Lovely and clean, it has a nice lounge area to relax in. The free tea and coffee was also a great thing.

Liked: Helpful staff - gave good advice and friendly. Great location - close to train station and Chinatown.

Disliked: Thin walls - can hear your neighbours, but having said that for the price can't really complain!

Liked: Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Excellent location right next to Chinatown, and good instructions on how to find it from the monorail.

Disliked: The shower is in the room with the toilet so you may need to be prepared to wipe down the toilet if someone has just a shower. Lumpy pillows!

Liked: 1min to Chinatown (but far enough away from the lights so you can sleep at night), 1min to the train station. Rooms are clean and simple and cool (air conditioned air is blown in from the corridors)

Disliked: No aircon in the common room

Liked: Clean and welcoming with really helpful and friendly staff. The location is great, plenty of good food options in the vicinity and handy for transport links too. A very pleasant lounge area and generally well set-up. We shall be going back there.

Liked: Excellent location. Nice small terrace. Clean rooms with wifi and handy kitchen area with nice free coffee. Only downside was that there were no windows in room but other than that, very convenient and practical guesthouse.

Liked: This hostel was the best we stayed in KL. it was spotless and very comfortable place to stay, quiet, nice and the stuff are really helpful, always with a smile. If I go back to KL I would definitely go back to Matahari Lodge. I recommend it.
