Liked: Nice communal areas, breakfast was just toast but as much as you wanted. Room is essentially just a bed in a window-less room but it's clean, the bathrooms were always clean and available and the staff were super friendly. Not bad for the money considering it's a capital city.

Liked: The staff were extemely helpfull and very friendly. As a lone female traveller I felt very safe here and you feel like you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The whole place was spotlessly clean and liked the fact they have free wifi and breakfast. It may be a little more expensive than other places but in my opinion it's definitely worth it. Thanks guys for making my staff enjoyable!

Liked: Grat location, right next to the markets, quiet and peaceful, free wifi and breakfast, staff was always very friendly and helpful. One of the best hostel experiences I've had thus far!

Liked: The staff are very friendly, always willinhg to help. The hostel is in a very central location with quick an easy links into the city. The staff provide all tickets for excursions, and it is a very good place to meet people if you are travelling alone. Clean and tidy property and very good value for money.

Disliked: Hard to find at first. Make sure your taxi driver knows where tpo go!

Liked: There was hot water, free towels, black coffee, 2 computers, a few helpful staff members...

Disliked: I was scared out of my wits when I picked up a clean coffee cup, only to find a huge cockroach inside crawl out suddenly on my hand! I dropped the cup and gave a shriek. Sorry, but I don't take too well to discovering roaches on clean dishes and in guesthouses in general. Hope they do something to combat the roach infestation soon or else there'll be more unpleasant surprises in store for other travelers.

Liked: It was close to Pasar Seni MRT station, which is only 1 stop from KL Sentral. The staff were really friendly and the hostel also offered a free book/travel guide exchange, with a fairly good selection. The room we had was spacious, if a bit sparsely decorated, but was ok for a few nights. Only 1 room on each floor has a window.

Disliked: If you do get a room with a window, the downside is that the noise from the street is ever present (traffic at all hours, construction work on the building opposite, bus terminal etc.). Also, the beds are horrible. The protruding springs made it very uncomfortable - possibly one of the worst beds we've had in all of Asia in fact, which is saying something. The showers were also communal and, as a result, often quite dirty so I would advise flip flops at all times! The shower was also directly next to the toilet, so it was like a wetroom which was sometimes inconvenient. Internet really only was available around reception area, and then only a weak connection.

Liked: Great staff, very helpful. Spotless rooms and location can't be beat. I was glad to be in Chinatown rather than Bukit Bintang.

Disliked: Dislike may be too strong a word. But the showers weren't the greatest. Could have used better pressure and it was the only place in the hostel that wasn't pristine.

Liked: friendly staff (except the night guard!), free wifi, cheap laundry service, nice little kitchen area

Disliked: Lack of atmosphere in the areas with the rooms, feels like old office building. Not the cheapest place considering you don't have your own bathroom

Liked: Very close to China Town and the train station. Room and bathroom were clean, felt quite secure and daytime staff were helpful.

Disliked: The room felt a little bit like a prison cell, what with being just a white box with no window!

Liked: Being close to the metro station, wifi connection in the lobby and in the room and storage room for some rates are the three major reasons why I liked the place.

Disliked: 1. Well, when I arrived at the guest house, I was charged higher than the rate in the confirmation email i.e. about 5 RM more. I am not sure why they tried to do that(cheat?) I had to show my email confirm to get the right rate. 2.They should have some quiet hrs after midnight. Some guests and the staff members were drinking heavy and very rowdy until one in the morning, almost breaking some door and histerical laughter. Some people have to get up early to go to the airport and this place may not be suitable for quiet persons getting ready to leave KL.

Liked: Very clean establishment and the staff are so lovely. Also its close to the train station - about two minutes walk. 7eleven next door is also handy Also, just a few doors down is an amazing food place that sells delicious roti channai for dirt cheap!

Disliked: nothing, im coming back here in a few weeks because it was so good!

Liked: I did sleep sound overnight for a transit purpose. There is a train station nearby less than 5 min walk. The KL central station is next(one stop) from the nearby station; the fare is 1 RM.

Disliked: There are aircon-appliances outside the room and the whole floor is airconditioned with them. The single room does not have any window.
