Liked: In a good location, Pasar Seni LRT station just across the road and also the Central Market & china town. good value for money as the single room is clean and cheap with A/C but no window. really friendly staff with coffee and hot tea all day. simple toast in the morning. you can leave your luggage if you are out of town for short trip. fast wifi at lobby. I'd like to stay there next time visiting KUL.

Liked: Lee, Mann and Zack are great guys, they really run the place well and are very approachable and fun! It's very close to Chinatown which is the place to be in KL, and the guys are helpful with directions around town. More like a hotel than a hostel, great value!

Liked: What sets Matahari Lodge aside from other hostels are the staff, their friendly, obliging, knowledgable service was second to none. I would definitely choose to stay there, next time in KL. Its location, within easy walking distance of a train station, buses, Chinatown and other points of interest make it an ideal base.

Liked: The staff were very sweet and helpful- we arrived at midnight then left a couple of days later at 4am and they were more than happy to help us out with any queries. The hostel is in a great spot, just near china town and walking distance to all major attractions, alternatively it is near the train and only one stop from Sentral station. The only bad thing mentioning was the shower and toilet- they were combined and there was no shower curtain to protect the toilet from getting wet, apart from that the hostel was clean and tidy.

Liked: The Hostel actually was nice and very close to the nearby subway station. Unfortunately the cleanliness was disappointing, especially in the bathrooms, compared to what we expected due to the recommendations. Beds were clean.

Liked: A very good place to stay, It´s basic and very clean. It´s very well located and staff is helpfull and funny. We staid there one night more at the end of our journey
