Liked: Great hostel, very friendly staff, very central next to the metro line, cheap price, internet and wifi, even breakfast included! Had a good stay here, certainly recommended!

Liked: This was the first hostel we have stayed in, staff were helpfull and only a 2 min walk from china town. Toast and coffee on offer for breakfast. Room did not have a window but we looked at it as a bonus as it was kept cooler especially as there was a fan blowing in our room which was right by an air con unit in the main hallway

Liked: I'm staying here on my own, and they have a very cheap single room. It's not the flashiest of places but it's nice and clean. Other travellers staying here are very friendly, so I didn't feel lonely on my own. The place has a nice balcony which is good to enjoy a free cup of tea on!The location is very central, right by china town. It's also really easy to visit the Petronas Towers from here. Although i'm not staying long enough to take advantage of the tours and services the hostel can arrange there is a really wide range. It was a really relaxing place to stay before my long flight back to London.

Liked: This was an awesome plase to stay. The people that worked there were helpful in every way possible. I meet some very interesting people. The location was very good and I felt completely safe. I booked another reservation there for my return to KL.

Liked: A great value lodge! Nice people and very clean.Only one small complaint....The room was rather noisy but even so, if I were to return to Malaysia again I would stay at Matahari.

Liked: Stayed for 3 nights, had an awesome stay, Thank-You! very relaxed and comfoy environment to make new friends. Very good location, just outside train station, 4 stops from Petronas towers (RM 1.60) each way. Very close to China town for cheap food and excellent "OU Super Market" (spelling) around the corner for fresh Veggies, Salad and meat. My wife is pregnant and a good source of food is a deffinite must. Central Market is across the road which makes purchasing travel good so easy. Bathrooms and toilets are shared, very clean and tidy with hot electric showers. Coin slot washing machines are also available. There is a small communal kitchen with boiling water, microwave oven, tables, with tea and coffee making facilities. Communal lounge with satalite TV, DVD and wifi internet.

Liked: Everything great for the price. Staff lovely. Internet not working however staff seemed to be using it all the time, wifi is free though.
