Liked: free wifi, great air con in the room. nice kitchen area

Disliked: location is bit far out, but is next to the monorail and is 2.50 ringgits (60p/$1) to get to centre of town. takes 10 minutes.

Liked: it was just like your own home...their cat,,jingga was the best among all

Disliked: someone lying/sleeping on couch while there is notice not allowed to do so - strict enforcement needed because they are deprieving others of the seat

Liked: The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is located very close to the monorail and is easy to find. They have got a well equipped kitchen.

Disliked: There was no fridge.

Liked: Free wifi, close to monorail (but not the metro - not to be confused), friendly staff, free breakfast, clean rooms, kitchen with basics for cooking. Good for money. Markets, cheap food and stalls just outside. Overbooked us (We booked a private double) so they put us in a 6 bed dorm for free for 1 night.

Disliked: No bar and not allowed to drink in the hostel at all. No bars near by either, just a 7 11 for beers. Walls are paper thin in all rooms / corridors. Breakfast is toast with jam which ends at 11am.

Liked: Great hospitality. We came to KL in a not-so-friendly time, but the staff are very friendly to arrange the beds for us. And I think I can feel this hostel is very safe and quiet.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Very friendly staff. It's actually hassle-free. I love the fact that the free shuttle was really of big help since I arrived in KL in a not-so-friendly time. The location I should say is not that safe but all is well because of the friendly staffs.

Disliked: I had my room changed because I complained of the mini door on the bathroom ceiling that really disturbed me. But the receptionist told me that all the rooms are the same and that would not be a problem at all. But I turned up changing to another room.

Liked: they are friendly, clean and tidy, we feel at home when stay there for 2 nights. They have elevator to 4th floor, that is very helpfull

Liked: I like that the staff were friendly and helpful, although it was some more than others. Happy to point you in the right direction when you needed information about the trips on offer.

Disliked: The bathroom sinks were disgusting - the seals around the sinks were full of mould and needed replacing badly, on the one day I did see a cleaner in there she cleaned them by tipping a bucket of water over them - I did not see or smell any cleaning product whilst she was working and I resorted to brushing my teeth in the shower so I wouldn't have to use them; I refused to wash my clothes in them also!!. Whilst I was in the room although the bins were emptied the floor was not cleaned so after a few days there was hair everywhere.

Disliked: The building, the toilets and the staff. Furthermore, double rooms are very small and without windows.

Liked: Not a lot

Disliked: Ok, so as a hostel it was just ok, the room - a private en suit double was terrible however, the smell of damp was prolific as was the moss over the walls, factor in not a great neighbourhood along with contstant noice from other guests such as vomiting at 4am and crashing doors closed then you could not recommend this place.

Liked: Location next to monorail station makes it quite easy to find. And the staff was very helpful to me.

Disliked: Coffee powder was the worst I have ever had, even Soviet Union had better instant coffee :)

Liked: EVERYTHING! It was just such a nice hostel, good location, literally 5 seconds to the Chow Kit monorail station. It's not in a very touristic area so it's great if you want to see the real KL and the night markets. The staff were warm and welcoming, the place was spotless and hot showers 24/7! They decorated the corridor with information, posters, and things to do around KL, including bus timetables, prices and eveything you need to know! It was like having a coloured Lonely Planet book enlarged on the walls! I would recommend this hostel to anyone, plus the free internet and a big breakfast is a definite bonus! BEST HOSTEL WE'VE BEEN TO SO FAR, and we've been travelling for 5 months around the world!

Liked: The hostel is close to Chow Kit station so easy to get there by monorail. Free internet access/wifi and self-service breakfast included in the price too. Only stayed for one night but i would come back to this hostel.

Disliked: The beds were a bit squeaky which kept me awake at night.

Liked: Amazingly friendly and helpful staff. A real homely feel. Watching films with other travellers. Free internet access and breakfast!

Disliked: Difficult to find. The area outside is off putting initially.
