Liked: Nice location close to public transport. Hostel itself is clean and beds are pretty comfortable. Dorm rooms don't lock though, which is a minus. You do get a free locker, but it's only big enough for a smaller backpack and some valuables. Still, felt my stuff where pretty safe there.Would stay again.

Liked: This was my second long-term (2 weeks) stay at Hostel Cosmopolitan and I loved it just as much as before! Comfortable accommodation, great for meeting fellow guests, friendly staff (who actually remembered me from my previous stay! Nice bit of personal service quality that I don't often find in hostels), free unlimited internet access on PCs, convenient location next to Chow Kit station, and the resident cats are as adorable as they've ever been!

Disliked: The sound / microphone doesn't work on two out of the four PCs. It's not a huge problem obviously, but there were a lot of us who wanted to use chat programs such as Skype and couldn't as a result.

Liked: The hostel was clean and well organized with enough bathrooms and showers. The free breakfast was only toast and jam, but it was free, so you can't complain. The staff was very helpful and even stayed up late to let me in when I arrived at 3:00am. It felt very safe and had a good location very close to the monorail making it very easy to get around.

Liked: Very comfortable beds by Malaysian standards. Good common area. Wifi works in the rooms. Really good showers. Overall, excellent value for Kuala Lumpur.

Liked: Comfortable accommodation, free internet access, plenty of facilities, a splendid location near Chow Kit monorail station, an all-round fantastic hostel with two adorable cats!

Disliked: Toilets seemed to always have water all over the floor and staff were difficult to communicate with at times

Liked: We had a great stay here, if we were ever in KL again we would come back without a doubt! Very recommended. Great place to meet people, cheap and free internet and breakfast as a plus!!

Disliked: the hostel is really dirty and guests are restricted to have 6 slices of bread for breakfast the location is not good either there are full of hawkers on the street which is quite hard to find the hostel

Liked: comfy and clean dorm rooms and good social area , great location next to chow kit monorail, market food and 7/11, friendly staff and lots of info for your next destination in asia....

Disliked: the bathrooms need updating is its only fault i can think of as rest of hostel is great value for money!

Liked: It was as they described pretty much. It was close to the monorail station.

Disliked: It was not that clean, even though it has won cleanliness awards from hostelling websites. They clean the main floors often but look further and its very dirty - walls and under beds etc. Also i didn't like the area that much, its very crowded, and i heard from some Malaysian friends that its not a great area to be in at night. The building is an old office building or simular and has no windows.

Liked: Loved this hostel. Would recommend it to anyone. We stayed 6 nights and didnt really want to leave. It is your home from home. Rooms where spottless and you get a nice fluffy white towel if you book the smaller dorms. Massive dvd collection you can watch any time and good breakfast till 11am. In a really good location next to the mono rail and buses. 10 out of 10.

Disliked: Showers did not work for one morning but they sorted it really quick.

Liked: its atmosphere.. just feels like a home made away from home... very helpful staff,who were always ready to assist.. the location was also perfect.. as the market, monorail station and main road were all close to help in transport... nd the best thing, it was 10min walk from the PWTC conference hall... free internet was awesome

Disliked: i thing that i really missed was a wadrobe... and hot water.. ohterwise it was ok

Liked: Free internet. Monorail Chow Kit is 2 minutes away. At check in the staff gives you a good map with directions of how to get to the main attractions. Shops and food market nearby.

Liked: Confortable location, very close to Chow Kit Monorail. Clean and quiet rooms and good atmosphere. Not many showers but still i never had to wait for them. Basic breakfast: toasts and tea or coffee included. Safe lockers assigned to each bed outside the rooms.

Disliked: I would like the hostel to have soap bars at the toilet and a common fridge in kitchen

Liked: A Perfect youth hostel. Frendly staff, free internet (wifi + desktop), free breakfast, nice atmosphere and above all very a good value for money !!!

Liked: free internet, clean bathrooms, lockers, lots of movies

Disliked: location is a bit out of the way compared with Chinatown, but still fine. The staff weren't able to give directions to the hostel over the phone... annoying.
