Liked: Not much

Liked: I liked the people. They were nice and friendly, and gave me a map for the city.

Disliked: I felt very uncomfortable and had a bad feeling about this place. I left the second night and checked into a hotel where I felt much safer.

Liked: Sweet balcony roof top to chill on, ok rooms. great with cooking facilitees!! very close to the lrt station masjid jemak wich made the location great! and close to china town and food places

Liked: the location was good and the staff was friendly.

Disliked: Only one toilet and one shower (with no hot water). The room was depressing, no window and unbelievably sticky and hot (sweat dripping within one minute of switching the fan off), thin walls. One of the worse rooms i have ever been in, I could not wait to leave the place.

Liked: The staff are still as helpful and friendly as ever, the place is still very inexpensive, especially if travelling in a group, and the atmosphere in there is great even when there aren't many people staying there. We went to another hostel to use their phone service and although in Chinatown, that place just seemed far too clinical compared to the feel of Traveller's Home. Also the location is fantastic, especially when Pudaraya Bus Station opens again, with cheap food in every direction and all sorts of interesting sights and amenities nearby. It's also very easy to get to it from Pasar Seni LRT station, itself one stop from KL Sentral on the train (RM1), and from here there are frequent SkyBuses from the LCCT airport. Give it a go!

Disliked: The rooms can get quite stuffy and this doesn't let up even at night, although rooms with a ceiling fan tend to be better. Also, the bathrooms aren't amazing, but after the heat and bustle of KL, their cold shower is actually a great thing to experience.

Disliked: The place was very unclean all over and the room's fan was barely working.

Liked: The staff was very nice and friendly, they helped us with everything.

Disliked: Everything was dirty. There was no place to meet other people that stays in the hostel and the beds where like you sleep on wooden plank.

Liked: It was cheap, and had friendly, helpful staff. We even got our rooms upgraded to more beds. It is located near several other hostels, so there are amenities for tourists (money changers, information booths, bus station). It is a 10-15 minute walk from the big KL towers. The showers had at least a constant trickle of not too cold water. Overall a very pleasant place.

Liked: Not a lot to be honest - there are much better value places to stay in KL that are cleaner and have working showers.

Liked: Beds seem to be clean but the place is really run down. This is the dirtiest place I stayed in (I even been traveling in India 6 month!), exept the rooms and sheets seem OK. The Guesthouse is in an old building waiting to be torn down and replaced with a new one. For this reason they dont seem to be interested investing in any repairs or anything new.

Liked: Recommend but only if you are on a very tight budget. We only stayed here 1 night as our previous accomodation was full. They were the same price, but this was definitely the lower quality of the two...although we did get a twin room for the price as opposed to a 12 bed dorm. Small problem with cockroaches, only saw a couple, but that was a couple too many for me!

Liked: next to chinatown and bus station. surrounding area smellls and full of roaches and rats! the hostel was alright and had a nice hostel feel to it. rooftop garden was cool
