Set in lush tropical gardens overlooking the Beach we offer a range of different accommodation to suit all budgets
The Bamboo Bandas, were inspired by our travels in Thailand. These simple Bamboo huts are a firm favourite with young and old. Simply furnished with Bed, Mosuito nets, lighting and shared toilet and shower facilities, they command some of the best spots at Njaya.
The Stone House. has 4 bedrooms that can accommodate 2 – 4 people each. The stone house is built from local stone and set right on the water is perfect for a large group or couples. The wide and spacious terrace is perfect for entertaining and sunbathing - the nearby rocks are ideal for snorkelling away an afternoon.
Our Ensuite Chalets are set in the lush gardens overlooking the lake, accommodating between 2 and 4 people they are ideal for families and for those that may find walking down the hills down the beach an issue. Each chalet has ADSL internet.
Cottages We have 2 cottages at Njaya, the first is a 2 storey stone chalet set over the beach, with bedroom, bathroom, lounge and secluded balcony its ideal for those that need a bit more space and privacy. Wired with ADSL internet is an ideal place to while away a week or so. If necessary the Lounge can be supplied with 2 beds
The 2nd cottage is without doubt our best chalet. perched right on the water, this large and very private cottage has a wonderful expansive terrace with stunning views of the lake and is ideal for a couple wanting a tranquil place to stay. And if the tranquillity gets too much you can always use the ADSL internet!
Njaya Lodge is just outside Nkhata Bay a vibrant port town 50 Km east if Mzuzu, it is one of the most popular tourists destinations in Malawi and is one of the most scenic towns on the entire lakeshore.
