Liked: Was a good walking distance from shops and the market, about 20-30 mins. the staff were helpful when I asked them something, arranging taxis, local info etc. There was a good buzz about the place, good to meet some of the locals as well!
Disliked: Some of the mosquito nets did have holes, but other than that no problems!

Liked: The atmosphere, the bar, swimming pool is lush, great food, great staff.
Disliked: A self catering kitchen would have made it perfect but still awesome!

Liked: Good cheap backpackers within a reasonable walking distance of the centre of town - I ended up staying here several times when passing through Lilongwe, both in dorms and in . The food's good too.

Liked: Excellent food, relaxed atmosphere, pool. Only problem is that evening meal is served only from 6 until 6.30pm, not so good if you arrive later than that as nowhere nearby to eat. Otherwise great stay
