Liked: I liked the way they help us. people who has never seen an heater, may choose that one. by the way, there are not too many hostels in skopje:)

Disliked: Not in the city center but you can walk there by 10 minutes. Nothing more to dislike.

Liked: Very warm. Welcoming staff, free internet and good guidance on a city map. Also sheets and towels included.

Liked: The owner is nice.

Disliked: We got a double room and it was tiny. This is not a hostel, but it's someone's house. Their stuff was storaged in the room we got and we can't use the wardrobe, there were personal things in the shelves. Not really comfortable. Everything looked like very old and dirty. By the way, the bathroom was very dirty and we didn't dare to have a shower there.

Liked: it is a bit like staying at somones house. The owner however is fantastic, could not be more helpfull and welcoming.

Disliked: it could do with sorting a few things out but it is new and they are making inprovements.

Liked: Clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, big common room and garden to hang out, even breakfast is included. One of the best hostels we stayed at during our trip through europe!

Disliked: I didn't dislike anything at all.

Liked: stuff gave me very good service . clean room . good internet connection.

Disliked: I arrived at Scopje 5:00AM . it was written "24 hours reception" on the website . but it was NOT TRUTH . Hotel stuff came at 11AM . I had to wate in the bus station for a long time .

Liked: everything you need, for cheap prices all the guys that run it are cool and very helpful, would recommend.

Liked: The room and common area. Nice and calm neighborhood. Owner and his family very very helpful, nice and understanding. Loved this place.

Disliked: It was very hard to find, didn't want to get a cab and it was a real hassle to get to this place even while having a map. But taking a cab would be cheap as it's very close to station so I'd recommend it.

Liked: The hostel is ideally placed, a fifteen minute walk from the main square. It is in a quiet neighbourhood. Whether you;re coming to Skopje to party or just have a quiet time, this is a really good place to stay. There are also many interesting travellers staying here and the hostel is set up to be sociable. Bobby, the host and his family also cannot do enough to help you out during your stay- really the ideal hosts.

Liked: Hostel is lil bit hard to find but after that i understand everywhere is difficult to find in skopje:)But close to city centre Anyway with 2 euro u can go by taxi everywhere.Garden of hostel super you can have beer less than market price and talk with another travellers.Rooms are clean.Personels are sooooo kind helpfull.They will explain you what you should in skopje where to eat where to visit.

Liked: Willingness to help answering questions, service available 24/7, good location pretty near the center.

Disliked: A little worn down (but clean) and no lift to the second and third floor.

Liked: Really friendly place with a lovely garden to relax in. The hostel has every facility you could want and there is also a fantastic breakfast. If you come to Skopje, stay here!

Liked: Not a huge amount. Staff were friendly and helpful enough.

Disliked: Room was very hot and leaving the windows and shutters open meant you had no privacy from surrounding properties. The bathroom smelt heavily of urine.

Liked: pretty close to the centre of the town. just a 10 min walk or so. brakfast was decent as well.

Disliked: one toilet/bathroom at the ground floor. but it was ok since the hostel was quite small anw.

Liked: The City Hostel was what a really friendly and social place. Travelling trough the Balkans we've been to lots of so called Hostels that in the end rather felt like a hotel. Unlike The City Hostel. This family business tried hard to make our stay as nice as possible, it happened that we needed to arrive 2 days before our actual booking which was no problem for them to organize. In the evening lots of people gathered in the garden, sipping some Skopsko-beer whilst chatting about their plans. Very nice service indeed.

Disliked: Nothing really, the toilets could have been cleaned once more during the day. Beware of the taxi drivers, never pay more than 120MKD to get to the hostel.

Liked: What I really liked about City Hostel was the location and the atmosphere, which allows the exchange of travel tips with other travelers. Mr Bobi, the owner of the hostel, is always very helpful and kind, and assists you in all your travel needs (like taking a taxi to the airport in the dawn), which is the main reason I would recommend this property.

Disliked: Nothing.
