Liked: The common room is nice and the hostess was quite helpful. Not one of the best hostels I've stayed at but taking into account Skopje's offer I would probably stick to it again.

Liked: This place is 'funky' in both good and bad ways--at least to this 60-year old woman traveller. My first impression wasn't very good, since the 12-bed dorm room is in the basement (actually the car park, padded with some fabric creation) and is very dark, almost creepy. Several of my roommates had very poor housekeeping habits, and there were extension cords running all over the place to operate the lights. But I was relieved to see that the staff member showing me to my bed was as appalled at the state of affairs as I was and she showed me a an empty wardrobe cabinet where I could stow my stuff. The next day the problem people left and I had a good time getting to know the mix of Estonian/Russian, French and Portuguese young people staying upstairs at the hostel for an extended stay, to operate a theater program. This hostel clearly has infrastructure and cleanliness problems. Only two bathrooms for the whole place, neither of which locks. Breakfast is do-it-yourself from whatever is on hand. Internet did not work while I was there, but the staff kindly called a neighboring hostel which let me stop in there to check my email And when I found out my bus to Dubrovnik left a day earlier than I'd thought, the hostel did not require me to pay for the unused night.

Liked: One of the best hostels that I've been. Very enjoyable, chilly-style atmosphere with very positive people. The location is great , in the city center, but little hidden from the busy streets that I liked a lot. The staff is very friendly, and there is free drinks all the time. The breakfast is delicious. I think this place is incredibly cheap for what you get.

Liked: We did not spend much time there but it was fun. People who work there were very pleasant and helpful. Minus for cleaness and the bathroom. Only one on 12 ppl. I would come there again.
