Liked: Really friendly staff who are always willing to help you out. A real laid back attitude lends itself to a really relaxed stay

Liked: Very relaxed and homely... In the very center of Skopje, so great for everything (bus station, shopping, sightseeing...)

Liked: Great place, perfect location, excellent english speaking and very friendly stuff. Very nice breakfast also.

Liked: The staff were very welcoming and showed us a good night out in Skopje, they cooked breakfast in the morning.

Disliked: Bit under-furnished, but i think it was being renovated as they'd moved locations recently. The plugs were a bit iffy and we had to make our own beds.

Liked: Perfect location, probably the best from hostels in Skopje, 5min. walk to city square , 5 min. walk to old bazzar. all other attractions are nearby

Liked: Wasn't far from the new and old town. Staff knew a lot about tourist attractions and their history.

Disliked: There was an awful stench outside sometimes, place was run down, wasn't as cool and arty as in the photos and didn't like the guy they called the 'tiger'

Liked: The location is really nice, located beside the river and only minutes from the main shopping centres and train and bus stations and the receptionist Silvija was a really nice and helpful person and I would have no hesitation in staying there again

Liked: I had a good stay at ArtHostel! Great location, comfortable beds and rooms. I enjoyed the room view of the Vardar river a lot, too ... is arty and bit of a party hostel, if that´s what you´re looking for.

Liked: Good atmosphere. Got on well with the people staying there, and the breakfast available right until 12pm is brilliant. Kitchen fully equipped and a decent size, and I got a real bed.

Disliked: Staff were not very helpful or friendly. Only one toilet / bathroom for the whole floor

Liked: In my opinion one of the best things about Art Hostel is that breakfast goes til 12. Which means you don't have to rush to get up for it in the morning before 9 or 10 at some places. The beds are comfy and its a decent place to stay.

Liked: Safe place

Disliked: Staff was not able to help us in choosing the places to visit around Skopje plus its around 30 minutes walking to the old town (quite a lot for a city size of the Skopje) Room was far from being clean and with the balcony door not closing at all (though it felt safe to leave things in the room anyway). Tumbler was running all the time making some noise and heating the shower room to ridicously high temp.
