Liked: There weren't many people at the hostel, but I think in summer it would have a great atmosphere. Staff were very helpful.

Disliked: Showers weren't hot all the time, most of the plugs in the room didn't work. We did find some bed bugs, but the staff were shocked and were really good about it, let us move rooms and called the fumigators.

Liked: great garden and place to meet other people. staff is super friendly and very willing to share info about the city.

Disliked: rooms are rather dingy, bathrooms are really dirty

Liked: This hostel was such a fun artsy place and I met a lot of interesting people and the staff was also great fun! For sure the best hostel in Skopje :) thank you everybody!

Liked: Cool outdoor terrace, garden and bar for socialising.

Disliked: Squishy rooms, on a busy road so a little loud, and not close to bus station or old town

Liked: Nice staff. Breakfast AND soup for dinner. Very relaxed and chill.

Disliked: The place smelled a bit of dog. They had two giant dogs. If you dont like dogs, this is not the place.

Liked: The hostel is a very friendly and clean place where it´s easy to meet people and to sit in the kitchen around the tiled stove and talk or listen to good music. It ´s not that far away (10 mins walking) to the city centre and the stuff is very helpful and kind and funny. We celebrated New Year´s Eve with them and it was like having fun with good old friends...

Disliked: If it´s cold outside (like in our case minus temperatures) it´s not so comfortable to have a room outside the original hostel in a neighbour building because it only has small heaters. But the staff will help you to provide you with some more heaters and blankets.

Liked: Everything in this hostel is special. Nice people, nice staff. I´ve been like home and I´ll remember always my stay here. Finally I´ve been two days more because is the best hostel that I´ve been stayed.

Liked: Probably the best hostel we stayed in, mainly because of the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. Turn up at ~7pm & you'll be able to try a Macedonian salad or soup made fresh in front of you! The living areas, including the outside patio/garden were very comfortable & we really enjoyed relaxing here. The included breakfast still makes my mouth water when I remember it! The kitchen also has anything you need to make your dinner with. I would recommend going to Macedonia if for nothing else, for this fantastic hostel. Thank you for such a wonderful time, Hostel Hostel!

Disliked: We were not there in high season so all was well, but I can imagine that the one shower between dorm people is a bit annoying. My boyfriend also hit his head on the low hanging lamp shade (but you'll be fine if you look where you're going)!!!

Liked: Quite fun, beds comfortable, wireless internet useful and generally clean and tidy.

Disliked: You get what you pay for. Location is a little unusual, not the easiest place in the world to find. Staff were a bit grumpy and not very helpful (one of our group got ill and staff didn't know where the nearest doctors were), not very welcoming. Rooms are cramped, hot and there are some exposed wires. Toilet is in the shower room and there are 12 people sharing so makes for a bit of a queue. We were also asked where we were staying next, when we told them we were given a load of flyers to take to the next hostel to advertise them....!
