Liked: It's decor is very shabby chic/70s patterns mixed with very modern arty wallpapers... odd, but funky enough. Good communications via email pre stay with directions and details. Staff speak Russian and English, although I did attempt some amateur Lithuanian!

Disliked: well... it started with a shake... We were directed to a completely different building by a grumpy old lady... The new hostel had reserved us a single, but did resolve this within 20 minutes, quickly cleaning up a double room after I downloaded my reservation email. The double consisted of two old singles pushed together so that we both fell down the gap throughout the night... When positioned right... the gap did make for a good massage table, and a great place to rest cups of tea...! In the morning we were very rudely awoken by a young girl and chucked out of the room, her tone was offensive and she completely ruined the visit... So, we packed up tried to have a shower (no hot water and vomit in the sinks... not great), no breakfast was left for us... so we went to the fridge to collect our food and were interrupted by a lovely older cleaning lady who explained to us in Russian that the young girl from earlier had **eaten our food at the start of her shift** and this wasn't the first time she'd annoyed travellers or done this... Nobody was available to complain to... **Pogo Hostel opposite the Cathedral was a similar price and MUCH MUCH better in every way for dorms and privates... location, cleanliness, friendly staff etc...!**

Liked: Free internet, friendly staff, good location:between transport and city, clean, beds likes odd, but are comfortabel, kitchen. Hostel value for money.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: location - between old town and stations (bus and rail)

Disliked: Sometimes it was not hot water. The room smelled bad and a shower. In the kitchen is very cold.

Liked: Close to station; the beds were pretty cool and more comfortable than they look on the photos.

Disliked: When I arrived I was told I was actually staying at no.17 despite being given directions to no.8; receptionist wasn't very friendly; there were flies in the kitchen.

Liked: The hostel is easy to get to and close to all transport. The price also makes it very good value The staff were very helpful

Disliked: The showers smell of fungus need more air extraction there was tea but no coffee and milk

Liked: Location is just perfect! The staff was good but we didn't meet anyone who speaks English there, well that wasn't a problem for us at all but anyway. The shower and WC was always clean. I think that if you need just a place were to sleep this hostel is perfect but no more!

Disliked: The water was cold at the evening but i guess that's the only bad thing in all this.

Liked: Central location - approx. 100 m from central railway station and coach station. Very helpful staff! Clean everywhere! Computer with free Internet! Free coffee and tea 24 h!

Disliked: No accept credit cards (anyone)!

Liked: Location, near the bus station

Disliked: Typical Russian run outfit (A Hostel umbrella, they have 3 hostels with different names in nearby locations) that are only interested in maximizing profit while providing minimal service. Pea pod style is cool but it's not comfortable to sleep in. The rooms have only small windows that can be opened so air ventilation is bad. The handyman work office is in a tiny room inside one corner of the dorm so they walked in and out while you are undressing or sleeping. Unfriendly staff and small kitchenette (nothing there).

Liked: Great location and helpful staff (once you get past their exterior). Please note that there is more than on location for this hostel which explains the strange ratings - half say it is very good, half say it is very bad. I stayed at the main location at Sodu gatve #8 and can say that everything was very good. People staying at #17 told me it was not nearly as good...

Disliked: No stove in kitchen, hostel stays open all night to outsiders just to sell drinks and alcohol, very slow internet. Wi-fi only works at main location, #8, not #17.

Liked: Location, very close to centre.

Disliked: It seemed like someone has slept in bed before, sheets were not clean and in shower there was not hot water. In the morning toilet was locked :(

Liked: This property was a lot better than I expected from the reviews given. The dorm room was really modern and comfortable. I think this hostel has a bad image on it's ratings when it is actually a good hostel. I would stay there again. Kitchen facilities good, clean enough and great location to bus station.

Disliked: Lacking atmosphere which you can live with, just get out and explore

Liked: Just a couple of minutes from the train station and they were expecting me. Slept almost nine hours in one of their ' pods ' ....'' bit like a coffin '' I heard but didn't bother me I was ''dead to the world '' [ Ouch.!. ] Bathroom clean, water hot.

Disliked: Could have done with Breakfast in the place and had to go down the street. Told they're starting Breakfast.... '' next week ''.
