Liked: Nothing. The owner gave away our reservation to somebody else and was extremely rude when we called her, we waited for over an hour outside in the rain and in the end had to find another place to stay as she never showed up.

Liked: The location, very close to the beach!

Disliked: When we arrived nobody answered the door even though they were inside: the man was watching TV and the lady was sleeping, in OUR room! Then she tried to make us pay the price of the room for each person (i.e. twice the price). Fortunately we had kept the booking confirmation of Hostelbookers! We didn't like the fact that she had access to our room from the inside of the house and didn't dare leave any valuables in the room. When we left we couldn't find anybody and had to leave the key in the room!

Liked: The triple room we stayed in, in the basement was wonderfully cool when outside it was hitting 35 degrees.the landlady was helpful and always about to help with taxis and advice

Liked: Like much of the accommodation in Palanga this is essentially a very big house with several self-contained rooms. More like an informal hotel than anything else. Room was very clean and modern, with a nice big bed! Friendly and helpful owner.

Liked: I don't know what it's like in high tourist season, but when we stayed here in the middle of May 2009, it was very quiet at night. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are equipped with multiple shower heads. The building appeared to be very recently renovated. The location is great- close enough to the main pedestrian street in Palanga but far enough away to be quite cozy. A great place to eat breakfast is only about 2 blocks away. And the girl/receptionist living downstairs was very helpful with recommending places to eat, buy amber, etc. We had a very pleasant stay.

Liked: More like a guesthouse than a hostel. Very nice room, immaculately clean with a TV, and a high tech power shower. Great value for what you get. Staff are less than helpful though.

Liked: Very clean, but we booked a triple room and instead two people had to share a double bed and the third person had to sleep on a couch.

Liked: Very nice personnell - the room had a teopot but no tea and she brought her own teabags and coffee :) The room was very big and bathroom very well equipped - even hostels don't usually have shampoos and hairdryers - that one did!

Liked: It was very clean, very( !!!)nice decorated, room had a beautifull bathroom, very nice furnitures, tv set, and some additional important devices, the personel was very kind, the house was in a peacefull surounding, very close to the beach and to the promenade.
