Liked: We stayed the second time at Motel Muiza. Whenever we travel to Latvia and arrive by ship in Ventspils, we book a hotel for one night, as on the other morning we travel on to Riga. Motel Muiza is not far from the bus station, and it is a very clean and safe place. If someone would like to stay for a longer time in Ventspils I would look for a different place to stay, as Motel muiza is located next to one of the main roads, but for one night ist was o.k. If you arrive late telephone them and tell as there is nobody around during the night.

Disliked: A bit noisy as situated at a main road.

Liked: We arrived by ferry boat at 10.30 p.m. and on the next day were on our way to Riga, it was o.k. for one nights stay. From the ferry boat you have to take a taxi to Motel Muiza, still quite cheap. If you arrive late you should telephone and let them know, as the staff is not around during the night. Ask for a water boiling pot, as they do not offer breakfast, but the next supermarket is about 100 m. The room was small, but very clean. If you would like to stay in Ventspils for a longer time I would not recommend this motel, as it is situated close to a Main Road, but during the night it was not too noisy. It is walking distance to the Bus Station and they have a big parking area, if somebody arrives by car. Staff was very friendly.

Disliked: I did telephone to tell them arriving time. That was good as they did not know by hostelbookers, that we have booked the room?

Liked: The room and the whole building was very tidy.

Disliked: It was rather hard to find staff present at any time.

Liked: Nice place to stay overnight.

Disliked: No 24H reception. If you check in after 18:00 useble only telephone number on the door.
