Liked: Female dorm. Proximity to station. Helpful staff.

Disliked: Not really a complaint but the 'boho' style decor and the number of teenagers lying around on beanbags trying desperately to look cool made me (a woman of a certain age) feel I didn't belong. The clutter, trailing leads, cracked laminate flooring, knickers under the bed and untidiness gave me the impression of a lack of cleanliness but probably made the aforementioned kids feel at home.

Liked: It is located in a strategic position: near the old town, central station, shoping centres, supermarkets. Environment is really friendly and on arrival you will get all the information you need about Riga.

Disliked: it's so cute that you could prefer staing in insteed of visiting city!

Liked: Easily one of the nicest hostels I've ever stayed in. Both the staff and hostel itself was warm and friendly and had a lot of resources to make my stay in Riga nice. Plus it was really affordable.

Disliked: Absolutely nothing. It was amazing.

Liked: I really liked the homey feeling and friendly atmosphere of the hostel. The staff were absolutely wonderful offering lots of advice on what to see and do in Riga, and also were good company just to hang out with. Everything felt and looked really clean, and leaving things in your room felt secure. Great location as well.

Liked: Very friendly staff, clean facilities, feels like staying at a friends nice apartment. Also huge rooms with lots of space.

Disliked: location could be a bit closer to the center of the old city, but not a huge deal, everything is still walking distance

Disliked: Nothing to dislike, but it is rather small so a big group tend to set the pace.

Liked: nice place , very friendly staff and a lot of FUN :) , other guest were awesome , the location is close to every thing that you might need and the most important that is very clean hostel , you can cook your self but you might be lucky enough to get a cake or something from staff or other guest {sharing is caring !! ;) } 100 % NOT enough at all .

Liked: The location is good. The atmosphere and cleanliness are perfect! The staff are really nice and helpful. They introduced the main attractions to me actively. You can taste some pies or cakes made by the staff if you are lucky! just love this hostel!

Liked: It's very central and good value for money. There was a hair dryer and even hair streightener in the female dorm. There were also some cosmetics for free. The girls in the hostel were very nice and helpful. They would bake a cake during the day for the guests. I honestly recommend it!

Liked: Very clean everywhere, spacious common room with plenty of room to lounge / chill out. Great soft beds and a fresh pillow and blanket. Slightly annoying floors - if someone walks past the bed feels like its swaying - but that's just the building. Free 5min international calls are a bonus. They let us stay and keep the key until our PM flight, which was very helpful. This place really felt like home, would definitely return.

Disliked: 'Free breakfast' was a joke - just toast and some honey. Otherwise perfect though.

Liked: This is the most comfortable hostel I have ever stayed in. New beds, great common area, and great staff. I have stayed in hundreds of hostels throughout the world and Cinnamon Sally's is truly one of the best I have stayed in.

Liked: Being my 2nd time in Latvia it was an easy decision to know exactly where i was going to stay...of course Cinnamon Sally's. This hostel is everything and more, and its difficult to describe just how well run this place is. I was quickly reminded of this on arrival at 5am...and to my surprise find the owner (Ieva) remember me by name the moment i stepped in the door. From there, all I can say is that my stay went from 2 days to 5 days. Riga's a really interesting city and all the better when you stay at somewhere that definately feels like home. The best part of CS is without a doubt the staff, youll get to know Daiga and Da-te who are not only friendly and welcoming but genuinely interested in you and your travels. Thanks again CS, I had a fantastic time, theres no doubt I'll be back.

Liked: Everything was great! Loved it!

Disliked: I didn't dislike anything, there could be a TV with a selection of movies to watch when the weather is bad, but that would really just be luxury. The hostel is great as it is.

Liked: Best hostel I've stayed at in 5 months of travels. Unbeatable atmosphere and excellent showers, facilities and location. Thanks for the homemade apple crumble, cinnamon rolls, thursday night bar crawl and great haircut!

Disliked: Because of its close proximity to Cinnamon Sally's, McDonald's was a difficult hazard to avoid on the way home...
