Liked: the staff!! and the 24 hour bar

Disliked: the stairs, they are very steap and one of our party fell down them and is currently in hospital.

Liked: Getting free beer as a welcome is just awesome. What more can you ask for?!!! Everything was just perfect. Girls that work there are very helpfuful, friendly, positive and smiley :) Met great guys from Australia, had great night out!!! Also what is great about hostel is that they have all sort of guides tour, so you can just relax and enjoy.

Disliked: Absolutely nothing.

Liked: Good-good-good, fun staff and everything you need while travel. A very welcoming free beer on arrival and a lovely breakfast as well. Pick them!

Disliked: The google maps marker is about 50 m off, but you can easily find the place with the address.

Liked: Really safe! Location was good although i would never have found it if we hadn't made friends with a riga local on the plane! Free breakfast! The biggest fridge full of beer you have ever seen!!

Disliked: Carpet in our privates room was dirty didn't want to take my shoes off! The shower is luke warm only and the head does not stay in its holder so you have to hold it over yourself, and it is a button start shower so you have to keep pushing the button every 30 seconds or the water stops!

Liked: Shower rooms, toilets are kept clean. Wifi is gerat. Staffs are great. It's very nice to give us free breakfast.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.

Liked: The staff are very welcoming and knowledgeble about the area, nothing is ever too much and they are always happy to help. The rooms were basic, but in good condition. We had an excellent stay, and would recommend this hostel to anybody visiting Riga. The location is excellent, and in the middle of everything, nothing is more than a 10 minute walk.

Disliked: The stairs into the building are relatively steep, and there is no lift, but apart from that I disliked nothing

Liked: Nice staff and good location. Very convenient to arrive and to leave from/to the airport with bus 22. The "drinking tour" offered by the hostel is nice if you want/need to meet people (otherwise it is too crowd) You really need to be in a drinking-mood if you want to do a wise use of the money invested. Otherwise pay as you drink!

Disliked: Noisy! Many rooms are next to the computers' area which (despite the announcement) are used during night time when people come back drunk!!!. The warning message is useless. If you are in a party mood and will come back drunk, not able to hear noises, this is your hostel! :) otherwise, not a quiet place!

Liked: Free beer on arrival, cheap prices, smoking room available. Also gorgeous view in most of the rooms. I've stayed here several times, and I am always happy to go back.

Disliked: The only thing I can point out are the stairs- if you have huge suitcases or weak legs it might be a little difficult.

Liked: this is the only hostel you should even consider when it comes to riga!! its got the best atmosphere, met great people, cheap bar and awsome staff good position. loved everything about it

Liked: I was stayed only fr one night, but i really enjoed everything starting at greeting till breakfast. Really want to came to Frank hostel someday, and stay longer and take part in interesting activities. Very good job guys and girls. I reccomend you.

Liked: The facilities were located very logical to me, they have free breakfast every morning. They also clean every hour in showers and wash room.

Disliked: The smell of bleach is sometimes too strong that I actually needed to hold my breath when I went to the wash room.

Liked: It was really a good place to stay, and really cheap. It's scenery is beautiful, Daugava River is just in front of the hostel, you can enjoy it why you're smoking or just chilling at the bar. Its location is another thing that I liked, you can go anywhere just in minutes. If I go to Rıga again , probably that hostel would be my first choice.

Liked: Really safe with entry, 24 hour bar and reception was really helpful! Friendly staff. Great location. Thumbs up for most things.

Disliked: Showers were average.

Liked: NOTHING

Disliked: It's the most horrible hostel I've ever stayed. I couldn't sleep since it was toooo noisy there. The lady's toilet and bathroom is downstairs so I have to walk a very long way if I want to go to toilet. It is really inconvenient. Although the location is quite near the old town center, the entrance of the hostel is located in a dark street with nobody nor car pass there. During the night, the crazy drunk people around the bar beside the reception really makes me uncomfortable that I don't even want to go outside.

Liked: Excellent hostel. clean rooms, great staff, great atmosphere. welcome drink on arrival. breakfast. internet. free tours. so much information. cannot complain. have paid a lot more for a lot less.

Disliked: very minor - didnt like having to buzz in every time i needed to enter the hostel. stairs are steep.

Liked: One of the better/best hostels I have stayed in for the past 6 years and over 100 places!

Disliked: Only 1 toilet for the second floor, but still plenty others below. Cannot be helped in a historic building.
