Liked: If you enter the hostel and go to the reception, you get a free beer in the nice bar, there you get all information you need, cheap night activities (bar hopping), free city tours and so on.... Best hostel I have ever visited, I enjoyed the time and will come back again ;)----

Disliked: I could stay at this nice place only for one night... :) Okay, really Aldaris Zelta Beer is more for women :)

Liked: This is the perfect place if you just got off easyjet. Not a true backpacker hang out. It was very safe and they were security conscious. The staff at the front desk were very helpful even when over worked.Did I mention that the pee smell in the two rooms I slept in was complimentary?

Disliked: People that don't see anything in town.

Liked: Amazing staff and a great atmosphere! Got to meet a lot of interesting people and got to experience Riga as well! The walking tours was great!

Disliked: Only the winding stairs, but that adds some charm as well:)

Liked: This was definitely one of the most fun hostels I have stayed at with the offer for an organized pub crawl. Plus a complimentary beer in their bar isn't bad either. Good value for what it was.

Liked: Very good value! Amazing place to meet other travellers, have a beer in their bar (the first one is free!), join the walking tours or pub crawls.

Disliked: While the girl Marta who is working at the bar was very nice and helpful, the girl at the reception must be the unfriendliest and least helpful staff member I ever came upon. The doorbell, which rings twice about every 8min is very annoying, especially at night.

Liked: Very friendly and outgoing staff who is very involved in activities. They make it very easy to find something to do and to meet others.

Liked: Staff were nice and helpfull. Location was good, not to far from all places and easy to find. This was my first time in a hostel so I could defn. go again, it was really cosy place.

Disliked: Builing was quite old, so it was bit stinky with the carpet covered most of the floors and summer time it was so hot in room.

Liked: Very well located, near the port where ships part for a tour of the baltic see and two steps from downtown. It is decently clean and rooms are average. The bar in the hostel is quite nice and the welcome beer is quite refreshing in a summer day

Disliked: The door is in the back and it is not that easy to find.

Liked: good location, good trip offers, very helpful stuff, the bar is nice and it's easy to meet people there!

Disliked: the room was very small and under the roof so during the hot weather we had it was hot there and hard to sleep ... but to be honest- this weather is really untypical for latvia. It's hard to find! really small sign at the door.
