Disliked: The blonde girl in the reception..She behaves like travellers are not welcome there! The common room is very cold because of air conditioner..They exaggerated the security thing you cant get in easily..

Liked: Good place to meet other travellers. A pub tour is offered every day which is a good opportunity to get to know other people from the hostel. Free breakfast and free walking tour offered as well. All in all good value for money!

Disliked: Dorms can get a bit hot at night. It's very noisy in the dorms as the hostel is located on a busy street. It's okay though, if it doesn't bother you too much.

Liked: Franks was fun & nice, however a little overated. Nice kitchen. But we still had fun and it was rather social.

Disliked: Staff were helpful but not overly friendly. Rooms were a little dirty and the girls showers were no where near as nice as the boys.

Liked: Very good location, price and quality relation.

Disliked: I came in reserved time, but room were prepared after hour. Poor breakfast (milk and corn flakes). But...it is hostel :)

Liked: Full time staff responsible for cleaning. Cleaner than my home. I paid for 16 bed dorm but got automatically upgraded to 4 bed dorm with no other guess in the same room. Pay for cheapest dorm and get private room...good value. Efficient and systematic procedures run by local staff. Nice kitchen. Good to have paper hand towel in kitchen and toilet. Free welcome beer.

Disliked: Wifi cannot reach some of the rooms (also my room). Need to bring my laptop to common area to access wifi. Not so convenient. Killing narrow stairs to enter & leave the premise. Be careful if you take big suitcase.

Liked: Just a nice place to stay! Clean, a lot of showers and bathrooms, a big kitchen and bar, location close to everything..

Disliked: The staff could be a little rushed sometimes, but genereally the staff was altso good.

Liked: The place was really clean and the staff were friendly. The kitchen was a good size and there was the bar in the hostel which made it easy to start chatting to other guests, which is great when you're a solo traveler.

Disliked: It was a bit quiet, but that's not their fault, I stayed on a Monday & Tuesday night.

Liked: liked the property a lot, very helpful staff, clean facilities and everything you need. good place to meet people. coumfy enough beds, lockers, enough bathrooms... no problems what so ever! and is good priced as far as the options go for hostels in riga. also close to everything here!

Liked: the receptionists are very helpful, gorgeous. free beer to welcome us and free breakfast are wonderful. the facilities in shower room and kitchen are well done(hair drier, oven, microwave, BBQ tools and so on).

Disliked: I lived in a mix room with some bad smell, maybe because of someone's socks;however my girl friend lived in a female room with good condition. Every time we need to ring the bell and tell the hostel our names and room numbers to get inside the hostel; it's very safe but a little bit annoying.

Liked: When we arrived we got a free beer, in the morning we got a free towel and a free breakfast. Unbelievable for this price.

Liked: Simply amazing. The Hostel was a fantastic hub not only to stay in but to be around.

Disliked: The pillows and matresses could do with being changed, they werent dirty dont get me wrong but time for a change.

Liked: Clean. Good value for money. General manager helped me with providing all necessary documents for obtaining a visa.

Disliked: 1. In email conversations before trip I asked about car parking possibility. There was parking. But without possibility to open the gates. So employee of the hostel advice me to enter on its territory with violation of traffic rules. Place only for two cars. 2. I booked accommodation in 1 Dorm (2 beds) Ensuite. First night I was accommodated in double room in hotel in next building because of hostel was full. But on next day i was accomodated in pivate 6-bed room. Employee said that they do not have 1 Dorm (2 beds) Ensuite.

Liked: big safety lockers whithout extra money good breakfast included friendly staff IT-facilities, web access from 10 PCs

Disliked: impossible to open/close doors without waking your room mates you have to keep window open to get fresh air

Liked: Everything was amazing but I like that the hostel provides free tours such as pub crawl, city tour, soviet tour, etc.

Liked: This is a great hostel. No.22 bus stops right outside. The Hostel is 2 mins walk from all the action. Free beer on arrival. Nice clean hostel. Good bar. Great staff. Get talking to Jeremy in the bar. Great guy with good knowledge. The hostel is great at arranging acrivities and the shooting and bar crawl comes highly recommended.

Disliked: The bar doesn't sell proper coffee...the only negative!
