Liked: not so much.

Disliked: No internet, no common room open between 11PM and 7AM. the 4th persons room is a 5th person room just near the restaurant. You have to pay the restaurant, no available ktchen. 12persons bedroom with only one little radiator and broken shower.

Liked: Very close to nightlife of old town of Riga.

Disliked: Sound insulation could be better.

Liked: onle the building itself it is very beautiful , and an excellent location

Disliked: the filthiest room I have ever had in my life , such as dried vomit on the wall just beside my bed , the shower was black with mold and funguses , never cleaned for the last few years , during all my stay I was lonely almost all the time in that dirty room : Their pictures in your web have nothing to do with the reality : This place should closed down for serious lack of hygiene

Liked: Really good location

Disliked: Only one ensuite bathroom in 14 bed dorm, it was dirty, the shower was infested with mould, and the carpet outside the bathroom door was constantly wet. The beds were broken (stuffing coming out of the mattress) and the staff were not helpful at all.

Liked: - Availability of staff in the night; - Clean bed linen and towels; - Shower; - WiFi.

Disliked: - No sockets in the common room; - A lot of noise outside in the night; - Though I have booked a bed for 5 days, during the last days they gave it to other persons!!!

Liked: Great location

Disliked: It was filthy - we had two rooms and neither had been cleaned properly. Neither bathroom was clean and the second room hadn't even been vacuumed (there was someone elses rubbish on the floor). Other people in privates were given breakfast but it was never offered to us. We waited outside for almost ten minutes for a staff member to let us in one night - there was hardly anyone else there and they definitely weren't cleaning so why the wait? We had to change room on the second day but weren't given an explanation and our new room was much smaller. Also the drains in the bathroom were blocked. The hostel has so much potential - location, space etc but it is managed terribly.

Liked: Amazing location. There is a big room (formerly used as a bar) with sofas if you want to relax.

Disliked: The computer for internet is soooooooo slow! There is no atmosphere in the hostel.

Disliked: Staff not so friendly. Interet is free but so slow you can't use it. No common space to meet people

Disliked: there was a problem with sewage: water didn't leak in the sink=( it's a pity that youdon't have your own parking

Liked: very well located

Disliked: there was a bathroom inside the room for 16 people so when somebody was having a shower nobody could use the toilet or wash basin, thet should be separate. Besides, the bathroom could be cleaner.

Liked: the location was the best ever, in the very heart of the old Riga. Staff really helpful and polite

Disliked: staff were not always there, but they gave us the key of the whole building so that was ok in the end

Liked: spacious building, quite location, in a side street yet right in the middlle of everything

Disliked: "no breakfast" BUT: for only 3 LAT you can have a huge buffet breakfast at the hotelbar across the street
