Liked: It's more like a boutique hotel than a hostel, it's fabulous.

Liked: It was small but spacious, there was a huge kitchen and common area, there were free washing facilities and the bathroom was very clean. The beds were comfortable and there were secure lockers where even the padlock was supplied. The staff were very friendly and it was very secure. It was more like a shared hotel than a hostel and I felt very comfortable and welcome there.

Disliked: There was only one bathroom so I suggest if you need to be up and gone early to plan some extra time and beat everyone to the shower.

Liked: This is one of the best hostels I have stayed at. It is extremely clean the the facilities are modern and the location is perfect. Marika is very helpfull

Liked: A great place to stay. I guess the best thing to say about it is that it really feels like home. Very cosy, the staff was more then helpful and if i go back to Riga i'd definitely stay there again.

Disliked: Nothing really. Just one detail usually found in other hostels, breakfast. It's not provided but i believe that for the price we can't ask more. Besides there's a lovely french bakery just around the corner and food in Riga is actually quit cheap.

Liked: The atmosphere as Blue Cow's is amazing, you truly feel like you're at home there! Marika is a wonderful and welcoming hostess, location is one of the best in Riga and the smallness of the hostel creates a unique, buzzing atmosphere among the guests and the staff. I'd definitely recommend this hostel to everyone!

Liked: This might be the best hostel I ever stayed at. The standard of the accommodation is even better than at my own place at home: washer, dryer, huge TV, many movies to watch, great (free) coffee, extremely well equipped kitchen so you can cook, spacious living room/kitchen, a huge cosy couch and over all extremely pleasant people, guests such as the hosts. The staff is very helpful, they provide all touristy information and offer excursions, events etc. We had a great time, good talks and a lot of fun. Go there! We decided to come a day earlier and it was no problem, the handling was all very uncomplicated.

Disliked: Hmm, only that we had to leave :)

Liked: By far THE BEST hostel I have ever been to! The cosy deluxe atmosphre, the huge lounge, huge rooms, super-friendly staff, cant beat it!

Disliked: Nothing at all. If Riga was warmer place I would have definitely made this hostel my home!

Liked: Lovely little hostel. Very friendly staff available to answer any questions. Fantastic location and very homely feel. Comfy beds in small dorms :)

Liked: Brilliant hostel in a great location close to the bus station. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hostel is really nice with carpets and nice comfy beds. Free washing machine and internet. Excellent kitchen and lounge area with comfy sofas and also a fridge with beer and cider if you want to have a drink.

Disliked: Nothing. It was great.

Liked: This place was like being in a friends house. Carpet on the floors, very clean and fresh rooms. Great beds and bathrooms large and clean. The staff were very helpful, free tea and coffee, and cheap beer from the fridge. Plenty of cutlery/crockery in kitchen. Great lounge with huge TV, free internet access, and a 2nd small area with bean bags. Also had book exchange.

Disliked: Our mixed bed dorm was on the road frontage, bar below and revellers noisy in the street thru til about 4 a.m. One of the back rooms would have been less noisy.

Liked: Everything. This hostel is perfect. Feels like staying at a +very posh+ friends place instead of hostel. Very clean, big bathrooms, nice comfy beds, great facilities, tv + satelite, dvd players, free wifi and laptop to use, well fitted kitchen n right in middle of old town n walking distance to art nouveau area. Excellent hosts too.
