Customer reviewWhen I arrived at the Ala hostel I was expecting it to be a bit of a hole, because I payed so little for my stay there. However, I was pleasantly surprised. It looks good on the outside and inside. they do take care of the building and it is clean. The only problem I had with my stay there was that the bathroom did not smell good and the shower was not the cleanest. They could definitely improve on that. Other than that, I found my stay pleasant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hostel if you are visiting Riga for a couple of days. |

Bartosz PlesiakGreat location of this Hostel, just few steps from the Market, based on main street with usefuls shops and restaurants/bars. Hostel is alsow clean and very CHEAP. Rooms are nice and clean. I would recomend defenetly to sleep in this place. |

Bruce HardyLocation, comfort of beds and rooms, and cleanliness. The one negative, apart from not being "open" was noise. Each night there was a lot of street noise until about 5:00 in the morning. People who like it quiet at night should definitely enquire before staying there. |
