Great location right next to the Russian market, within a couple of hundred metres from the bus station and not much further to the Old Town. Staff friendly and helpful, the rooms are basic, clean and very cheap. Free internet, use of the fridge and microwave. Exactly what you want from a budget, no frills hostel.

convenience to Bus and Train station, with Train station having lots of facilities. Also only about 10 minute walk to the Old Town for Touristy Sightseeing.

Was in market part of Riga - gave a better sense of real Riga. Was old fashioned but needed a facelift (however it was very comfortable and "Latvian!")
