Liked: Clean neat rooms with keycard access so not open to everyone at the hostel. Excellent location in the centre of the old town. Staff on hand 24 hours to help with queries. Great cooking facilities available.

Liked: Staff were really friendly, place was clean, location was great. My room needed a lick of paint, but apart from that, Naughty Squirrel was flawless. One of the best hostels I've ever visited!

Liked: The hostel was really good. All staff were fluent in English and happy to help with anything.... Free tea, but coffee for 1Lat seemed a bit steep!

Liked: Helpful staff, clean and safe, facilities are great, our rooms were newly painted, free wi-fi, maps and info available, cable tv, bar, and right in the centre of the old town

Liked: The only thing I could think of is to put a bedlamp in the 6-bed dorms so people who wants to have a late night read could do so. Otherwise an excellent hostel!

Liked: This place is awesome! The staff is super friendly and helpful. They have the answer to any question you might have. The atmosphere is fun and laid-back and is kept extremely clean. This was the safest I've ever felt staying in a hostel and it was kept extremely clean the entire time of our stay.

Liked: The naughty squirrel is a really great hostel. Great facilities. The beds are absolutely amazing. So comfortable. Unfortunately the showers seem to run out of hot water in the morning, after a few people have showered. Staff were really nice and helpful. showed all the cool places to go and see.All in all a great place to stay and i would definitely recommend it.

Liked: Quite possibly the best hostel we've ever stayed in. Great staff and a fantastic place to meet people. Not the cheapest but it's definitely worth the extra couple of quid.

Liked: Really awesome hostel. All the good ratings and comments were well-deserved. Very safe, very pretty, functional and clean. Staff very nice, helpful and knowledgeable; good atmosphere. The only thing I would improve on is the lack of furniture in the room: just a bed is a little spartan (we stayed in a private room en suite), a table or some sort of shelf would make it much more functional. In any case, highly recommended and would definitely stay there again!

Liked: I like that the hostel is close to the bus stop and train station, has free Internet access, and a kitchen. I also like the funky decor and the frog rubbish bins in the bathrooms. The hostel is very clean. The only inconveniences are that the toilets and bathrooms are very cramped, and the light switch for the hallways is not very obvious. I was struggling to open the door to my room because I couldn't see anything in the hallway at night.

Liked: One feels very welcome at this place; at reception help for sightseeing, eating out etc was provided. Also a free tea was offered. The place is very cozy and clean, highly recommended.Extremely good value for money

Liked: The Naught Squirrel Backpackers was a fantastic place to stay. It really made our trip to Riga enjoyable. The staff helped us book activities and our transport and hostel for the next part of our trip. They went above and beyond to help us!!
