Liked: The location is unbeatable, only a couple minutes from the bus station plus the staff is just awesome and will show you a good time in Riga.

Liked: Location and security is Very good .

Liked: Everything! They have good clean accomodation, nice beds, very clean bathrooms, good showers... Common room/spaces/kitchen are really good and clean too. It's an awesome and incredibly cheap place to stay! They increase your money value, definitely! Had a wonderful time there.

Disliked: generally a early 20ies crowd... so the behaviour was as such... maybe im too old for hostels but a very well run outfit. the staff were super... friendly and competent

Liked: Had everything you look for in a hostel: clean rooms and shower/bathroom facilities, FREE SHOT when you arrive, a comfy common room, friendly staff, a kitchen, etc. Bonus points for the staff having great taste in music.

Disliked: This isn't the hostel's fault, BUT: going to Riga in February was a very foolish and freezing idea. Still a great place to see, but we should have waited a month or two.

Liked: A very friendly atmosphere that's geared towards having fun. The staff are a good laugh, the rooms are clean and there's foooooooooooosball :)

Disliked: The cooker was broken for a week but aside this it's pretty much all likes, in all honesty one of the best hostels I've stayed in

Liked: The Naughty Squirrel is AMAZING! Easily the best hostel I have ever stayed at (and I have been travelling around EU for quite a while). Not simply are the beds great and the rooms set up really well...But it's definately the staff that make this place. They are so incredibly amazing (and may I say...very attractive also), they know everywhere to go during the day and then they point out all the awesome places to go at night. I would really recommend this hostel. It's absolutely fantastic. Also, you gotta go on all the tours you can. They're so much fun. And they personally take you on them aswell. So you get a good chance to have a talk with some real locals and hangout afterwoods and share some laughs with.

Disliked: absolutely nothing. There's a reason they're the best hostel in eastern europe.

Liked: A lot of things organized (dog sledding highly recommended!), helpfull staff, clean (bath)rooms, cosy common room, etcetera!

Liked: Ideal location in the old town and A short walk to the main bus station. Friendly staff. Free shots and entertaining environment.

Disliked: The double bed we had was broken in the middle which meant sleep was a bit uncomfortable other than that everything else was great.

Liked: Everything! None of those crap pub crawls that take you to generic tourists spots, they take you to proper local places, restaurant and clubs. The staff were so willing to help and make sure we had the best time. The cleaners were constantly cleaning the hostel working between 8am - 12pm at night keeping the bathrooms and shower rooms to an excellent standard.

Disliked: Nothing, the best hostel i've visited in Europe

Liked: The Naughty Squirrel is very clean and proper. The staff are all naturally friendly. All really lovely people. I really enjoyed my time here and met some wonderful people. I will remember my stay here for many years to come. The location is excellent as well, in the heart of a great little city.

Liked: Very helpful and engaging staff. Good location.

Disliked: Noise at night. Bad air in my room which made having the window open a necessary for me. But I am more sensitive to this than most.

Liked: Maybe the best hostel on the planet... Great range of activities on offer. Fantastic staff, cheap drinks, and a very social hostel.
