Liked: Good location. They have many bathrooms. It was very clean.

Disliked: they don't have a real kitchen nor common space. The computer is next to the reception desk.

Liked: it is just in the heart of the riga city centre

Liked: Amazing location right in the middle of the old town. Really good value for money and pretty good cleanliness for the price as well. All in all it was a great stay.

Disliked: They say that the reception is open 24 hours a day, but it seemed to just have normal office hours, meaning that you couldn't use the computer or tea-making/water boiling facilities without waking up one of the staff to let you in to the reception area. This was inconvenient seeing as the tap water isn't drinkable.

Liked: The location, directly in the center the old town.

Disliked: The rooms look rather old and it was quite noisy at night.

Liked: Basic but very acceptable room - but for the price we didn't expect anything else! Excellent location - but note that to get in you have to walk in the door between two bars

Disliked: Parking is not available in old city or it is available but very expensive! There is one place next to the river near to gas station Statoil where is available free parking (about 500m from hostel).

Liked: Everyone was helpful.

Disliked: On one night a member of staff had a partner or husband staying which I did not mind. But what I did dislike was that he smoked and although he went out on to the balcony there was a strong smell of smoke.

Liked: Nice, big room, has a balcony. The showers are pretty clean, too bad that there is only one restroom with sockets - if you want to dry your hair you have to wait for it to be vacant. The location of hostel is amazing, I could even call it perfect.

Disliked: There is no kitchen, just microwave and kettle for water. Too bad.

Liked: the location of the hostel was quite good, just in the cente of the old town, and it felt safe and secure.

Disliked: the whole place smelled like mould, especially in the showers, and there were damp patches on the carpets, walls and in the ceiling. we paid for our 3-nights stay when we arrived but on the morning after the staff tried to trick us by telling us we only paid for one night, and wanted the rest of the money. besides from all of that the stay at the dome pearl hostel was ok, if the only thing you demand from the place is a clean bed to sleep in.

Liked: The best location in the Old Town of Riga

Disliked: Towels were small and paper thin.

Liked: Excellent location in Riga with a light and bright outlook. Very helpful staff. Tea and coffee provided plus use of fridge. Internet access provided free of charge. Very attractive city and Dome Pearl Hostel also has that same good feel about it. Definitely recommend.

Disliked: Had a few problems getting the key to my dormitory room to work, but always staff there to assist.

Liked: It's location

Disliked: manager overbooks and expects people to change hostels to suit her. Had this happen to me and was asked to change rooms to accomodate a group, but what the manger meant was that I was moving to another hostel. Refused to go and spent ages explaining, this incident was a shame because the hostel is actually fine. Reception staff are lovely and sympathetic

Liked: I liked the easy going spirit of the hostel keepers and the cheap single rooms with large beds available. I didn't like the fact that the outside was in repairs and that the showers had cold water sometimes. But I still rate my stay as a good one, no curfew, easy access to bars and you can bring a guest overnight to have fun.
