staff was very organised and informed. always very friendly and helpful. the kitchen was not so good equiped as pronounced.

it's really close to the city center... Clean and friendly... unfortunately its private room means pay for two minimum....

The hostel is next to the central station and just 10min walk to the old town, therefore the location is really good. Besides, everything...especially the showers and toilets is very clean. The only bad thing might be that the check in time is at 2pm, but we could leave our luggage there.

There were no extra costs, as I leaved after 1 night instead of 4 nights!

I`ts very good in summer, when the air is hot, because it`s an old building with big walls and it`s always nice to come back to cool air after hot summer day. Very friendly staff, doesn`t complain at all if you come back in the middle of the night, clean toilets and bathrooms. Very fine place to stay. If i go to Riga again i already now where i`ll stay next time :)

The location was out of the way of the UK stag/hen parties, being out of old town, and so was a little more relaxed.
The location was also good for local shops, markets and amenities, which are important when travelling.
