Liked: The bed was the most comfortable I had slept in for weeks and had clean sheets and a decent pillow. The lady who checked us in had a wealth of knowledge about the town and was very friendly. The free internet is most convenient and they actually have a working microphone for skype. The toilets are also very clean. All in all one of the best hostels I have stayed in. Check it out yo!

Liked: The hostel is clean and the wifi works, beds are comfortable. It's great having a security card to enter, however lockers in the dorms would be appreciated. The dorm I stayed in had two cages under the bunks [four beds] that could be locked, but this isn't sufficient for the number of beds. Staff are friendly.

Disliked: Hostel is close to the beach and a walk from the town centre.

Liked: Excellent hostel. A bit spooky from the outside, but interesting. And very cozy from the inside. Comfy beds, everything super clean, tea+coffee+internet available. The lady very very helpful. One of the best ones I stayed in.

Liked: Nice hostel, location is ok. Common room and rooms are nice.

Disliked: Bathrooms were clean, but are a little cramped, but ok.

Liked: Staying at Travellers Beach Hostel you feel like at home. It is very ambience place. If I will visit Latvia somewhere around once more i am sure that I wiil stay at the same place ;)

Disliked: I dont have any complaints and everything I liked very much. Nice place for staying. It should be more such places around the world :)

Liked: The place was really close to the beach and the centre of the old town. Don't judge the place from the outside building, inside is clean and very cosy. It was quiet when I was there, but it still had a nice atmosphere. I would stay again if I was in the area.

Disliked: It was a bit tricky to find if you arrive later than when the tourist information place is open. Make notes on the directions.

Liked: Nice location, really close to the beach, quiet area, also near the football stadium (Liepajas Metalurgs). A short walk to the town centre. The reception dude was friendly and very helpful. Sadly, there wasn't anyone else there when we turned up (that I could see anyway) but was with a friend so didn't matter too much - ended up having a four bed dorm to ourselves.

Disliked: A little too quiet but that's not their fault, it's not exactly the height of summer!

Liked: The rooms, the kitchen/common area, the terrace and the staff, extremely helpful. Great location also, it takes just 10 minutes to reach the beach! We definitely loved both, the place and the city.

Liked: Staff very helpfull, nice and explain and help us in every thing we need.Hostel so clean, everything you need (sheets, locker,towel,soap,te,cafe....)included.

Disliked: The windows are so big, there,s no courtains, so yo need something in your eyes to sleep before nine o;clock...

Liked: Good, cheap, close to both beach and town, good bloke running the hostel - recommended. It was a bit quiet when I was there, but still had fun!

Liked: dont let yourself get impressed with the looks it has from the outside it's probably one of the nicest hostels ive ever been. excelent conditions, very nice decorated, young evironment and staff 5 stars helping along and all.

Liked: the location of the hostel is just perfect. minutes walk to the beach and to the city. it was a little dirty since the hostel is under renovation and there were no one else except us! i guess it will be a totally different experience for us if we had come during summer.

Liked: Travelling in very much off season makes it hard to evaluate some aspects of a hostel, but it had good lounge areas to meet peeople, was warm and the owner was very, very helpful. He went out of his way to do anything we asked of him.
