A private hotel. The hotel is situated in the centre of Jelgava. In the 17th-18th centuries Jelgava was the capital of dukedom of Kurzeme and Zemgale. In its time Jelgava hosted Peter I, Charles XII, Luis XVIII, Katherine II, William II, the musicians - Shuman, Vagner, Rubinstein, the card player Kavallo, Kaliostro who invoked phantoms, Kazanova the masher, and other people famous in the world history.
