Liked: Location and owner was nice

Disliked: It was like a horror film. We felt so dirty we had to sleep in our sleeping bags and not open our backpacks. The lock was a padlock. The shower was over the toilet. There was a gap in the door perfect for bugs and a hole in the window.

Liked: The hostel was cheap, which is exactly why we booked it, but as always, you get what you pay for.

Disliked: The property was smelly and dirty. We ended up moving the next day to something just $1 or $2 more expensive, but much better. Mosquitos overran Chaluen Garden and there was an airport strip in their backyard, which wasn't bad, just unexpected. Slightly hard to find even though we had a taxi driver take us there.
