Guesthouse Velania is located in the Velania district just around the corner from President Rugova's residence and close to the Hotel Dea, is much better known to taxi drivers as Guesthouse Professor. It's the best deal in town. The "professor is a friendly, helpful man who does his best to make his guests feel welcome. Rooms have Cable TV, and there is a fully equipped kitchen for use of guests. It is very popular with groups of young visitors to Pristina and as a consequence fills up fast. It is best to book ahead.

Pristina's most affordable accommodation is run by an affable former electronics and engineering professor who studied in the UK. The rooms in the three- story house have a hotch-potch of furniture but are mostly spacious and adequate.
Breakfast is not included but the rooms share well-equipped kitchens. There's a free laundry service and there are a few communal balconies.
