Liked: alright for a short stay gave me an early breakfast so I could eat something before my safari

Liked: Full breakfast (as in huge) included, rooms clean, helpful staff. We asked for a room higher up and away from the road (upon advice of other reviewers) and slept without distraction.

Disliked: You wouldnt walk anywhere from here - we were warned about theft so had to catch taxis for 500KES into the city. Hot water was ok but not brilliant. Pillows are atrocious, but thats par for the course in Kenya.

Liked: The people who work in this B&B make it as they are so friendly and will go out of their way to be helpful, make sure you do actually converse with them as it is worthwhile! The safari tour was quite expensive but as only arrived the evening before wasnt able to check around to see what was available and it meant that actually got to see some of the attractions like the elephant sanctuary and the giraffe centre.

Disliked: Wished the area was nicer around the hotel as would have liked to have be able to walk around but dont let this put you off.

Liked: the surrounding is not so good, but at the hotel there is a very nice terrace, and we spent most of the time there. this is on the roof with a nice view. the restaurent is also there. good, clean rooms with african decoration. very friendly staff.

Disliked: the area is poluted and rather noisy

Liked: We were returning for a second stay and while we were checking in the transformer blew plunging the whole place into darkness for the night. The friendly staff provided portable lights for us and even gave us a discount on the bill.

Liked: We were picked up by the hotels' friendly driver, and found the hotel staff to be delightfully friendly. The rooftop bar and restaurant is a very relaxing place to while away a few hours.

Liked: I liked the cleanliness of the room and nice furnisning and equipment of the Ensuite we had even if the room was quite small. The hotel has very nice roof terrase from which you can see the Nairobi.

Disliked: It was a second time we spent a night in this hotel. For the first time we had a very nice quiet room. But for the second time we got the room with view on main street in the first floor. It was absolutely terrible experience. Even on Saturday night the street was very noisy. We could not sleep at all. I would recommend to all people to ask for the room which has windows to the yard side or is in the higher floor at least.

Liked: We had a very nice Ensuite in the floor above the reception in direction to the yard. It was quiet. Even if the room was quite small it was nice furnished and clean with all needs for 1 night stay. The view from roof terrase was very nice. Personal was very friendly.

Disliked: The location of the hotel is on Ngara Road which is noisy and dusty. I was not brave enough to walk on the street.

Liked: It was like an oasis in the middle of busy Nairobi, the rooms were gorgeous, way better than I expected for this price.

Disliked: The location could be better, but once you're inside the hotel you'll forget all about it.

Liked: the roof garden is top - the staff is very friendly and helpful - we had good luck with our room - we had a clean and big room with balcony , because there are some less comfortable inside-rooms with the same price.

Liked: Nice breakfast made to order - you put the order in the night before so you get exactly what you want.

Disliked: Be aware this is not in the centre of Nairobi. This is not a problem, as its only a 10min walk into town - or a 400 KSh taxi if you don't like walking past the slums (not advisable after dark)

Liked: The room was a good size with good facilities and a comfortable bed. We also really liked the rooftop terrace - cheap beer with a great view.
