Liked: It was fairly easy to get to from the airport - they told me which buses to takes and it worked - the staff were very helpful in helping me figure out the next leg of my journey

Liked: The hostel rooms are small, but comfortable. The shared bathroom is nearby but may not always have hot water and flushing toilets that work. Bit of a spruce up needed on the whole place, but the friendly, helpful staff and the good value, user pays breakfasts, make for a pleasent stay.

Liked: The location was great for me as it was within walking distance to the Kenyatta National Hospital where I was working during my stay. A Java House was right across the street with free WiFi access, which was also quite convenient. The site of the hostel had everything I needed: a restaurant with cheap prices; a kiosk for necessities like cellphone minutes, bottled water, biscuits; and even a beauty salon for a pedicure to lift my spirits after a long week. This was all for a cheap price that was lower than anything else I could find in the area.My main complaints are that (1) there were not curtains or shades on my window, (2) there were not screens or bed nets to avoid getting mosquito-bitten at night, and (3) the hot water in the showers was not very well explained, so I ended up taking cold showers for half of my stay before I figured it out.
