Liked: The rooms were very clean, comfortable and full of character. The kitchens were a nice feature as well to keep costs down. All the staff was very friendly and willing to help. It was a relaxing experience right on the beach.

Liked: Very friendly and very helpfull staff. Very good location. Direcly next to the beach. Good swimmingpool. Very nice room. The park the houses are on is very beautifull. There 40 differtent species of palmtrees. Very green and beautifull.

Disliked: Nothing, everything was great!

Liked: Great place to stay! Having the kitchen (very large with fridge and stove) made it very homey and easy to save money by cooking meals. Would highly recommend this place!

Liked: The property's immediate access to numerous beach sporting activities, the cottages have a very relaxing feel and are perfectly blended with nature. They also provided adequate facilities for cooking in the cottages. The beach front view at the bar/restaurant was great.

Disliked: Despite having booked earlier the staff seemed not to be expecting me when i arrived. Also i dint like the fact that we were put in separate cottages. The staff at the reception were not so welcoming.

Liked: Beautiful buildings with spacious bedrooms and clean bathrooms. I especially liked that there were self-catering kitchens to help keep the costs down. The supermarket is a 10 minute Matatu ride away for 20shillings which is very handy. The location is superb, right on the beach and close to other resorts.

Disliked: The swimming pool was lovely but very shaded and not enough room around it to sunbathe. We were also a little annoyed as when we went to pay for our accomodation the gentleman tried to charge us a lot more than was stated on the Hostelbookers receipt. Luckily we had taken the receipt along as proof of what was left to pay and they relented.......make sure you either print out or take a photo of the receipt page.

Liked: The use of natural materials in the rooms, and the easy access to the beach. A disadvantage is that no food is served, and you can't even get a tea or coffee - only bottled drinks at the bar. This bar is open 24hours but was almost always deserted in June.

Liked: Everything was great.Only disappointment was restaurant where most of the advertised menu was not available, the waiter spoke poor English and took 20 minutes to come back and tell us what we had ordered wasn't available.Subsequent nights we ate out, can recommend the hearby Italian rests, and Alex who came in to prepare and cook our wonderful fish dish on the last night. Excellent value for money! Self catering kitchens were great, too...just watch out for the monkeys!
