For those coming with your own tents we offer a large camping area and those who wish to come with their own food there is a self catering kitchen in the grounds complete with gas stove, small BBQ and an assortment of pots, pans and utensils.
For those who are not self catering you can enjoy meals prepared by us in our kitchen for between 600-800ksh per meal.
We have a central bar and dining area complete with sofas, book exchange, darts, pool table and large BBQ where we often prepare meals.
We mainly get our electricity from solar panels which provide power for basic lighting around the camp plus charging facilities for phones and cameras in the bar area.
As well as plenty of space if you come with your own tent Mara Explorers also has some tents and camping equipments available for those who want an authentic bush camping experience!
We offer a mixed dorm tent which sleeps six people in bunk beds and we have four simple twin/double tents. We also have two ensuite family tents which can each sleep up to four guests. Currently in total we can sleep 22 people per night in our tented accommodation. All the tented accommodation is complete with comfortable beds which have linens and blankets included and the tents have basic solar powered lighting inside.

We are located just 3km from the Masai Mara National Reserve which is not fenced so it's possible to hear and encounter wildlife sometimes at camp, usually at night.
We are only 300mtrs from the main road meaning it's possible to access us even in the rainy season. If you are traveling by public transport to our camp you can be dropped off at the main road and met by our staff who will walk you down as long as you contact us in advance.
We are at the base of Siana Hill which is good for hiking and a walking distance from a local school and village, if you are interested in visiting them we can arrange these activities for you during your stay with us.
For those flying in or coming with public transport we can also arrange 4x4 safari vehicles and driver/guides for gamedrives during your stay if you need.
