Overview

Mara Springs brings you very close to nature. Sleep under canvas in our furnished mid-luxury tents with beds and beddings or pitch your own tent on the well shaded campsite.

Our open camp grounds on which to pitch your own tent are zoned into private areas and each has a cooking and dining area. They have strategically located convenience facilities at close quarters. The camping grounds are famous with truckers and other budget outdoor adventure enthusiasts.

We have built a large spacious area which serves mainly as a dining hall. We also provide public and private dining areas according to the wishes of the clientele. Evening bonfires and traditional entertainment can be organized on request.

A utility shop / bar is open for both residents and campers. Post cards, maps, toiletries, souvenirs etc. are readily available.

Accommodation Information

Visitors can conveniently choose between full board stay or self catering.

All en-suite tents are attached to bathrooms with hot showers and flush toilets. Our exclusive self contained tents are fully furnished and offer a more luxurious stay.

To meet varied accommodation demands we provide tents in either singles, doubles, triples or as per family specifications.

We have 17 enclosed basic tents as well. The difference is that these tents are not self contained and residents have to use a shared bathroom facility. All the bathrooms are serviced, well maintained and have hot showers.

Location Information

Mara Springs Safari Camp is authentically designed and strategically positioned on the foot of Naunare Hills in a prime game viewing area with spectacular landscape alongside the forested banks of Sekenani River.

Located only 3 km from the main entrance of the Masai Mara Game Reserve, the camp derives its name from the underground springs that supply flowing water to the site.
