Liked: It was really nice to have access to a full kitchen during our stay. We had a decent sized fridge/freezer in our room, which was handy. The location is very close to China Town and a short walk from all the main Yokohama attractions.

Disliked: The room was very small for the price charged. The bathrooms are shared and we had to go down 8 floors to use the shower, again this would be fine if the room was a bit cheaper. They only have LAN internet access and provided us with the shortest LAN cable I have ever seen.

Liked: The hostel was very lovely, staff helpful and the rooms bigger than I orginally thought. They offered me free laptop for use with an internet, which was really helpful. I enjoyed staying there a lot!

Disliked: Not particularly anything.

Liked: Private rooms with high speed internet and a refrigerator, with a place to cook and heat water just across the hall. So while it's not a great place to hang out, it is the perfect cheap base of operations within easy walking distance to the train or to Chinatown.

Disliked: There isn't really a place to 'hang out', but I wasn't using it for that anyway. It's not a particularly interesting part of Yokohama, but it's right next to Chinatown, which is.

Liked: The rooftop garden is lovely. Good, central location for visiting Yokohama. Price was good.

Disliked: The area is close to a lot of the major sites in Yokohama, but on kind of a strange area. The shower is on the main floor close to the street, not so comfortable to use.

Liked: Convenient location with clean and good general facilites. Very helpful and obliging staff.

Disliked: Not really space for two futons in the rooms (twin rooms are same size as singles), but if you don't mind a squeeze it's OK - might need to leave your luggage on the balcony overnight though! Not in the most prosperous part of town, but that didn't cause us any problems either.

Liked: I like just about everything here and as I visit Yokohama from time to time, I plan on coming back! It's right near Chinatown and some older historical spots in Yokohama. The rooms are small, simple, and clean. It's also a great value especially since the Japanese yen is so high now and is very quiet. Free internet and laptop use! Great rooftop view too! Keep up the great work! I really like this place.

Disliked: Almost nothing. I wish the reception would stay open a bit later though. 9PM is too early to close. I wish the showers were free or a bit less expensive as well. No free breakfast either. :(

Liked: The quality of this hostel is amazing, considering the prize, and the staff is incredibly warm and friendly, even after Japanese standards.However, girls travelling alone should be aware that it is not completely safe to walk around alone in the neighbourhood at night (the security of the hostel itself, though, is very good)

Liked: was very clean and close to china town. it is also very central and you have good and short connections to yokohama central station, kamakura and the tokyo area

Liked: They offer laptop for customers to access to internet at their rooms. It is great help for maintaining communication and searching for travel info. The Japanese style room is also what I like. I wish I didn't need to pay for taking shower.. it cost 200yen per 7 minutes.

Liked: The staff was helpful, and the room was very clean and nice. There was good air conditioning, a TV, and a fridge. The only thing that wasn't good was the location. The area seemed a little run down, but the rooms themselves were very nice.

Liked: The room was very tiny but the staff were very friendly and helpful. I got the chance to use their laptop connect to the internet in my room for free (plus there's free breakfast in the morning!)
