***YHV’s project***
Yokohama Hostel Village(YHV) has organised projects to re-generate the local economy of the area, attracting more young people such as tourists and backpackers to the hostel
by renovating old hostel rooms and improving the image of the Kotobuki district.
The hostel used to be a day-labourers dormitory town and had become a backward area
after the economic recession in the nineties.
Our project aims to transform the Kotobuki district from being dependent on social insurance
into a productive district that can even contribute economically.

Through our hostel visitors we intend to communicate our policy and projects for the revitalization of the Kotobuki district to people all over the world.

*Atmosphere: Nostalgic Yokohama
*Roof top garden - we sometimes have parties there.
*Basic amenities: All rooms have standard with a TV, air conditioner, mini fridge, small table, clothes hanger
