Liked: Friendly and helpful staff.

Disliked: There was a communication problem, my reservation was not there when I arrived. However the staff provided me with the room. It's a bit spooky area. I do not like the paid shower: 3 min for 100 yen

Liked: The hostel is in a good location about 5 mins walk from Iskikawa JR station. Wifi was free and breakfast was also included. I was only there overnight but would stay again.

Disliked: coin operated showers cost 100 Yen for 4 mins, that should be directly written in the information about the hostel. Room was a bit smelly/humid but ok with AC.

Liked: This was a great place to stay. I really liked the staff. They are amazing people and really got to know us. We even got them souvenirs from some of the places we went to. They're great for a family to stay at as well as good for individuals.

Disliked: The location is actually really good because it is right next to China town and very close to a train station. It's a little seedy side of town, but nothing nearly as bad as what you would find in the States. I never felt unsafe by myself or even remotely threatened once.

Liked: The place is clean, staff is friendly and helpful, I like breakfast here.I recommend you to stay here, you will like it.Only few minutes from JR line (Ishikawacho).I love this place more than anywhere I've ever stayed (compare with the same level of hostel)

Liked: Breakfast provided, which is not very common in Japan. The staff were very friendly and speak english. The room and the common areas are clean despite being small and compact.

Disliked: You've got to pay for your shower, which is not very common elsewhere.

Liked: kinda weird place, rooms and floors without any flair, but very secure. and the breakfast ist pretty good!! and its for free. cheap as well, and clean. everything you need. recommend!!!!!

Liked: It is located in a very good location, close to china town, and the major attractions in Yokohama, and the breakfast is very good, and the room is confy with your own tv as well. it is a very nice place.

Liked: The hostel was REALLY cold, and the heater was broken... Hot showers at payment also... 100yen for 4 minutes!!! But the location is close to the train station JR and to walking distance to the city centre and everything!

Liked: Very nice, comfortable, and clean place with a friendly English-speaking staff. Within walking distance from JR and subway stations, with eateries of various types to suit anyone's tastes. Also close to all the important tourist attractions. Only bad thing was the directions to the place, which was very vague (that it was only 4 mins from the JR stations). Recommend that you have 100 yen coins for various things like the shower.

Liked: The breakfast! It was delicious and we like the washing machine facility provided to all the guest. Overall, it was a good stay. The only downside is its coin shower.
